Hey guys, mind I pull up a log? I'd like to talk about what your favorite type of playstyle is. Gotta admit, I love mediums and spotting. Winning is a team effort, at all, and in this meta of camping and TD's, a good spotter goes a long way to helping the team get the win.

Howdy - I like playing some mediums, as long as I don't have to brawl, hate that. Lights I would like to play better. I can usually hold my own in a Heavy, but a TD suits me best.

Of course, a good spotter is absolutely necessary for TDs. Unfortunately, both the spotter and the TD are often team dependent, which makes for a tough game these days.

Welcome I_Maverick_I, grab a log and pull up to the fire. I'm an older player so my reflexes aren't that quick so I tend to prefer heavies, and some mediums. I like a fair bit of gun depression and ridge fighting, as well as side scraping. Lights are fun, I just don't do that well in them.

I agree, when i do run a platoon, ill run a med or light and ill have my platoonmate run a TD for that reason.

Appropriately, the non-so-secret SPUD greeting upon loading into a random battle and finding another SPUD in the same game is to type:

 

"Talk to me Goose!"

 

At which point the other SPUD must reply:

 

"Don't do it Mav!"

 

Then they proceed to gloriously potato together.  That usually happens automatically since half the time they manage to die immediately because they're trying to type while driving.

Greetings fellow tankers! Some of you already know me from the forum, but  for others, I have been playing since...wow...2014. That sounds very sad, having said it. lol  I am a long time MOM-er, was in the tourney clan, but just didn't have the time to commit to regular practices and 2x week tourneys, etc.  If it isn't a problem, I have an alt in MOM proper, but I promise not to share state secrets, tasty recipes, or kryptonite-type weaknesses of any SPUDs, should I be admitted. I am looking for access to decent toonmates, an occasional count-in, and generally decent clan-mates.

 

As for skillz, I make a mean pot roast, am a decent track driver, spend every Thursday night playing World in Flames with friends, and am a solid, upper middle tier tanker.  I am hoping you guys will give me a try.

 

Regardless, best of luck earning the 5,327,897,109,224 candy canes needed to win anything guud in this latest WG winter wonderland.

Pull up a log, or go grab a lawn chair from the garden shed. Beverages are in the cooler under the table and s'more fixings are in the pan on the table.

I haven't paid much attention to the candy cane event as work has kept me busy. Leave it to WG to come up with a convoluted and confusing event.

Duke_57 welcome. I know Littlefinger left MoM as well. Good clan but pretty busy. We spuds are more relaxed...unless until a gas explosion threatens or we run out of beverages (adult and non-adult nature). We won't talk about the great salsa shortage...shudder...horrible memories.
