Have to agree with you on that one it pretty much sucks big time all around sold after 4 games.  No armor no gun .  Too bad you can't sell tanks to other people or get your money back.  Save the money don't buy it. You have to drive it to believe how bad it is.  :)

This tank is a beast, not sure how people can not have success in it.

I have to say I'm a bit disappointed. I'm a Matilda fan from the British line. I thought this was a no brainer. But I can't really recommend it if you own the other tier IV or the BP.

Jury is still out... I'll keep playing it.

Well my 2 cents is I liked the Brit mati last (was the last tank I owned before I when to a soviet only garage. Had mostly red tanks anyway since I started playing) so I think I might have the 1st to get the  Matilda 4 (within the 1st 10 min. Of it hitting the store) I have no regrets on spending 11.99 I get a wicked little tank that keeps all my iron ponies red

I really enjoy playing the British matilda, so I thought I'd try the new soviet prem.

I like it.

its faster then the original, has worse accuracy, a lot more alpha, and the gun is fast but not nearly as fast as the original Matilda.

the two biggest Things I've noticed:

pro: it has great gun depression.  Like almost straight down.  this opens up a lot of interesting tactics, like sidehilling and shooting at guys over the hill.  The turret has good armour and I get lots of bounces.  So many times in wot it's frustrating, you wish you could aim just a *little* bit more down.... Then try the Matilda IV.

con:  the pen is terrible.  The pen on the original Matilda was amazing.... Not so much in this one.  You will expect to fire gold or bounce a lot of shots.  A lot.  Kv1?  Good luck, you can't touch him.

still a fun tank though, I'm enjoying it.

average 20,000-30,000 cr per game with premium

The Matilda is kinda slow. I lime playing the BP because it earns decent credits and can slowly, but surely, whittle down opponents HP. Many of the tier 4, 5, and even 6 opponents don't seem to take it's ROF into consideration. In this regard it's a bit of a seal clubber.

One Matilda is enough for me. But I can see how collectors would snap up the Soviet premium version.

I have had good luck with it. Kv1 is no problem if you aim for the weak spots.

I think its the best of the Matildas....but the pen is not very good so I have to fire a decent amount of premium ammo, which sucks.  T1 Heavies and KV-1 are hard to break but it can be done with careful aiming and premium shells.  I do quite well in this tank and the increase in speed over the other 2 Matildas is huge for me.  The super slow Matildas are painful to roll in.

I bought this after all being a fan of the Matilda's in tier 4 and enjoyed the BP. As others have stated, the additional speed is a welcome change from the others. The pen isn't as good so on the tougher tanks it's best know their weak spots well and or platoon with another  stronger tank. I still prefer the tier iv over this one or the BP, but prefer this one over the BP due to its faster speed. You can play it like the BP, just watch the upper tiers and play a little more peek and boom

Not  a bad tank. Pen is not a big issue. However accuracy is RUSSIAN. It is missing a lot. Some ZIS Russian gun. However tank is not bad at all. Not sure why people complaining about it. It is a pretty solid car.
