One thing to remember is clan's have tags now, it'll be so easy to identify if a clan participated in a count down.  Also make it so you have to post a screen shot of battle results and the teams, but posting screen shots won't have a deadline, so people who have to work, school, etc won't have the stress of trying to get screen shots in (but have an appropriate deadline at the end of the contest).

I don't get why people choose a medal contest, because there needs to be a random pick of all people who earned that medal.

 

Medal of choice I think would be Raider (pure luck),  Kamikaze (easy but it's a random draw anyway), Nicols's Medal (most unicoms will get it)

Unfortunately the prizing is not up for discussion. That stuff was in the first part of the poll. It was determined that that first 10 people to earn the medal will receive 2,500 Gold.

 

Any additional changes to the contest are not going to be considered. This includes a minimum damage threshold.

Because the questions in the poll were not asked sequentially.  When the options were posted about what type of contest, everyone remembered the Fadins Medal contest, or any of the previous medal award win contests, and they thought, "hey those medal contests were easy, lets vote for that."  Then later, without saying what type of contest is chosen we ask people to vote on what the prize should be.  And people want something they think is both worthwhile, AND achievable, and 2500 gold with 10 winners sounds both attainable and worth their time.

 

Now though we have to try and shoehorn a contest type into an award winning structure, and that's not really that easy, nor is it necessarily what people want.  What CC really should have polled for this second type is which would you prefer?  An easy medal contest with high number of winners and low reward, or a VERY DIFFICULT medal contest with low number of winners but high reward.  That would more accurately reflect the desires of the playerbase IMO

Will people purposely be afk until there are 3 enemies left then they try to get the medal? With so much gold people will just do this every game until they pull it off.

 

Also is it mentioned if it is the first 10 by in-game time or first 10 to post to forums?

The contest will be the first 10 people to get a Radley-Walters' Medal in any Tier VIII, IX, or X Tank and post it on the forums!
