There is literally only ONE spot on the Churchill III that's 176mm thick. Was about to buy this tank but....

Don't do it!  It's totally under-powered!

The Churchill III has my best average XP, and was over 1000 average for the first 30 battles or so. The tank is totally worth it.

I own 207 tanks. My records at Blitz Stars!

Why do people like the Churchill 3? It's a Churchill 1 with a gun with poor pen. The Churchill 1s gun is the only thing that keeps it from being a bad tank

It's a Churchill I with the most health of any tier 5, preferential MM, and a gun with a RoF so fast that it reloads before it aims. If that doesn't appeal to you, don't buy it.

I have one on the Xbox... Have been debating whether to get one on Blitz or not. I do remember rolling down the town streets on the Xbox just firing away and taking minimal damage due to the troll armour.

After tilt, I need a reliable tank to raise my WR back up so I jump in my Church III with its preferential MM.

The normal Churchill actually has a better 6-pdr gun than the churchill III.  It has a better rof and better accuracy.  The Churchill I also has the same amount of health.  The only real reason to get the churchy III is to get more credits.  Preferential matchmaking is truly the only difference.

better armor. pref mm. profitability. INSANE exp multiplier. better gun depression (one could argue you have -10 gun dp on the churchill 1 tho).

Church III is a good reliable credit earner for its tier. I learned how to side scrape with it. At its tier very few can pen if you know how to angle when not sidescraping.

I also use it as a failsafe tank when I fall into a loosing streak.

Very good EXP earner.

Get it.

and? Collision "modal" tells you which parts of the tank is armored how much.

The church3 is more than the sum of it's stats. It's one of my favorite tanks. The armor can be meh but just point a fender at your target and keep hammering them. It can burn down almost anything it faces in a dpm exchange. Had some really epic matches in this tank
