The tank won't stop going forward or turning sometimes when I lift my thumb or move my thumb from controlling the tank. It's cost me battles before. I'll try to creep ahead to shoot then pull back only to see that it keeps going ahead. I get shot 5 times and die.

I have google fiber. My ping stays pretty steady at 30ms. Very occasionally it will jump to 500 to 600ms. But the tanks doesn't keep moving it just stops and all the sudden 5 enemy tanks are near me shooting at me.

That's a ping lag problem. It happens during lag spikes, (in this case probably server side). Nothing to do with framerate. Or your touchscreen has a poor touch detection rate(Not official term, but just referring to how often it checks for touches per second).

It always comes back to my device. I am on a Samsung Note Pro 12 with no apps running except the game. The game responds just fine. I've turned down all the game play detail. There are no problems with the device keeping up. Especially since I've played thousands of games on that tablet. That wouldn't be the case if there were consistent problems. I'd switch to a different tablet.

Sounds like you either have packet loss or your memory is low. Try restarting your device and force closing everthing. It happens sometimes to us all.
