Which is better? JagdPanther II, or ferdinand? Well, the Jpanther II Has less armor but however more speed. The speed os very useful in tight situations like. Getting to your position in time before getting spotted. On the other hand is the Ferdinand, more health points and armor, but less speed... The armor is useful because you can go into close combat and just a sorb all the damage (if you know how to use it).

I really liked the JPanther II a lot. Once you figure out how to use it, it is amazing. Just remember to go hull down. If you do, even some tier 10s can bounce shots off of that angled armor. I've has several clutch games in which I was the last one alive and had a medium circling around me. I managed to take it out with the great traverse speed. That would never be possible in the Ferdinand. The Ferdinand also has several places that are easily penetrable in the front of the tank.

Jagpanther 2 is generally better for its tier (8), but for the few that prefer TDs with stronger armor (americans and germans), then ferdi is sometimes better. Basically do you want armor or speed. All around JP2 is better, but ferdi helps develop "skill" and helps prepare for tiers 9 and 10 of the line. Since Im a USSR TD FANATIC, I would have gone JP2, had I not been halfway through Ferd.

TL;DR Armor or speed? (ferdi/jp2 respectively)

Speed, armor(superstructure is better hull is mediocre),gun handling. Seems to me Jpanther 2 is the 2nd best tier 8 TD. 1st one russian biased Isu-152 with bl10s.

jpanther2...because I hated the ferdinand. Ferdinand is slow and pointless. Atleast the jpanther2 has a chance of defending itself against mediums.

I went through the ferdinand and into the jagdtiger (on BOOSTEDMUSTANG) and I loved the fear that the ferdinand put into me back when i had tier VI's. Now i know what its like driving this thing. I've always loved heavy tanks and tank destroyers. Being a tank destroyer is being that threat that you enemy are looking out for, kinda like the artilary on the PC, THEY're that big threat. I think that both of these tank are OP. They both show the german engineering that is famous for the epic tanks produced in the second world war.

Tanks: usa: T2 light, T14, Ram-II, M4A3E8 Sherman, T29, T26E4 Super Pershing Germany: VK 30.01 H, Panzer V/IV, Dicker Max (which i regret), Löwe, Jagdtiger 8,8 cm, VK 45.02A, and Jagdtiger

Clearly JagdPanther II,if u hulldown that thing is totally a GG ~270 of effective armor. While the Ferdinand the armor is kinda bruh because most of Tier 8 veichles have +200 mm of pen. While the armor of the Ferdinand at the FRONT is the ´incredibly` 200 mm so,use JP2 is fast, deadly, well armoured(doing hulldown obviously) and somewhat accurate.OBS:Im talking about in Blitz version cuz IDK about World of Tanks.
