To all that have been following the threads in this sub-forum,
The rivalry between SPUD and Triarii has escalated to a point where no amount of offensive capabilities could prove a winner. All attempts at peaceful diplomatic resolution have failed. Rather than rely on Cold War tactics of M.A.D. (Mutually Assured Destruction), the leadership of both clans have agreed to a Defense Contest. So we turn to you, the rest of the Blitz population, to prove who is most worthy. Starting Tuesday night at midnight EST, we are going to be running 2 contests simultaneously. This is the master thread for that contest, and will contain links to two other threads where you can track your kills.
Anyone and everyone can participate, but all members of any SPUD or any Triarii clan are not eligible to win prizes. Basically this is a bragging rights contest to whichever clan gets killed the least number of times over the next 30 days. But in the process of doing so, you all get a chance to win some real prizes! All you have to do is kill a member of [SPUDX], [III], [III-X], [III-S], or [III-P] and grab some screenshots.
The Spud or Triarii member that you kill must be in an equal or higher tier tank than your own.

Contest #1: Rewards will be based on # of kills of members of [SPUDX] clan. Keep in mind that kills of [SPUD] DO NOT COUNT. Only [SPUDX].
Players who kill the most SPUDXs will receive:
1st Place - 1500 Gold
2nd Place - 1000 Gold
3rd Place - 500 Gold
Minimum kills to win any of the above prizes - 3
One additional reward will be given out by randomly picking one entry from the Spud contest thread. The reward itself will remain a secret for now.
Contest #2: Rewards will be based on # of kills of members of [III], [III-X], [III-S], or [III-P] clans. Kill screenshots will be entered in a separate post from the SPUD kills post. Kills of [III-R] and [III-Z] will not be counted, as they are not taking part in this event.
Exact same reward structure as Contest #1, including the same randomly-picked award from the Triarii kills thread.
Entries must contain 3 screenshots:
1) The Personal Battle Results screen with time-stamp
2) The Team Battle Results screen
3) The Detailed -> Efficiency Battle Results screen showing you killed the SpudX or Triarii
You can use any image-hosting website you wish (Photobucket, Tinypic, etc.). I used Imgur in the below example. And for the sake of everyone's sanity, please use Spoilers! Contest entries must be in the following format, using hyperlinks rather than embedded screenshots.
DO NOT POST YOUR KILLS IN THIS TOPIC. No entries posted in this topic will count. This is a discussion / information topic for the contest.
