You just got WoTB. You go through the tutorial. You click battle and appear in a tier 1 battle. You more then likely used the T1 Cunningham. Stock, this thing sucks. After you upgrade your engine, tracks guns and the turret, you will want to upgrade straight on to next tank, but the t1 cunn. is a great tank. With the autoloaders you can dominate the battlefield. I would like to hear your tactics ONLY for the T1. Thx for the replies. WoTB. Mobilize!

The upgrade is like 50 xp? from what I remember...LOL The journey of 1000 miles begins with one step! Tactics? Back then is was run and gun and try not to get destroyed....once you got the hang of it flanking came into play, Of course it was a better outcome if your team understood the concept of wolf pack!

The T1 and Leichtractor are the two tanks I've done the best in. The Soviet one is OK.

Hit them in the back or side, and empty the magazine before hiding to reload.

I greatly enjoyed the T1 Cunningham and I kept it for a while as well. I preferred to use the 37mm auto-loader because it was capable of destroying a tank of the same tier with the clip.

One thing that I learnt to do with the Cunningham (and the Leichtraktor) was to go backwards when peaking around corners of solid cover due to the fact that the turret is located near the back of the tank. By doing this, the whole front won't be exposed to the enemy.

T1 was a great tank.  I had 102 battles with a 76% win rate.  Then with release 1.2.0 WG nerfed the clip from 5 rounds to 3 AND decreased the alpha on the rounds... so I dumped it.  Still, it offered a nice change of pace from grinding the E 75 in tense T 8-10 matches...  and playing against noobs.

It's a good intro tank, however it's glaring problem is that at some point your going to be paired up with tier 2 tanks and it's not as good as the next step. I suggest playing this and the auto cannon as it helps to learn fundamentals. It's not something that's in your garage long term.

Autoloading five shot superpower gun. Sneak up on LOLtractor. Five clips in and gtfo before they fire back. Rinse and repeat.

If you look close you will see that this T1 is half a platoon. This particular strategy is not one I would recommend...

if your a t1 in higher teir like 8+

i recommend they scout one side of the map while the rest of the team charges down the other side

(also stay alive, plus esp. if you see your team lossing, you can go cap to take off the pressure thats on your teammates, and put pressure  on the enemy, for either disengaging the fight and trying to reset the cap, while your team can either back off of pick of the enemy)

here in blitz i never saw a teir 1 being used right in higher tier games which is a bit disappointing

I like using HE shells in its autoloaders, because they always pen tier 1-2 tanks and do max damage. You can kill a tank of the same tier or above with less than your whole mag using HE! I like the cunn more in tier one, but only drive russian tanks
