Waifu Wars I

 

What is Waifu Wars?

Waifu Wars is a contest to bring out that inner weeb in everyone! See if your waifu is top tier or trash tier and have them compete for you in a chance to win money!

 

Who is eligible to compete?

Any forumer who is an anime fan and would like to show off their pride and joy (because you have nothing else to be proud of).

 

What is a waifu?

A waifu is an anime girl who you claim to be the best girl ever and if given the chance you would actually marry her. She will not reciprocate feelings, as much as you would like her to, as she is not actually alive.

 

How will this competition run?

This competition will pit 16 different waifus in a popularity/elimination style competition.

A poll will be made for each round and the forum will decide who are the best waifus. 

The first 16 people to submit a valid entry will be entered into the competition.

Each round will last 2 days in order to get a large voting pool and to avoid ties.

The first round will begin Monday 7PM ET or when 16 valid entries have been submitted.

 

First Round: 16 waifus- The top 8 most popular waifus will advance

Second Round: 8 waifus- The top 4 most popular waifus will advance

Semifinal: 4 waifus- The top 2 will advance

Final: 2 waifus- The top tier waifu will be the winner and the person who made the valid entry for the waifu will walk away with a $10 iTunes card

 

Rules:

• Who is your waifu?​
  • ​Name
  • Anime she is in
  • Tasteful picture (NO ecchi, lewd, or doujinshi pics)
• Picture can either be in a spoiler or a link
• Give 2 reasons why your waifu is top tier
• In the case of a tie, each member of a tie will have to make a compelling statement as to why their waifu is the best (a poem, letter, essay, what ever you feel will compel me to pick your waifu)
• Shameless bumps of the voting threads are allowed but please don't spam
• Bring everyone you can to vote
• Have fun!

 

Prizing: 

As stated, the person who has the winning waifu will receive a $10 iTunes card by email. Extra Prize: If your waifu is able to be the most popular through all 4 rounds a $5 bonus will be added.
