Since so many people have begun to use Teamspeak and I'm usually having to tell them how to set it up. I thought I'd save myself and others some time by making a guide (with pictures).

 

First, you obviously need the Teamspeak app, which happens to be $5 but if you have a Mac or PC, it's free and much easier to setup than this as well as more convenient.

 

Step 1:

Go into the TS app and go to the menu.

Step 2:

Go to bookmarks.

Here is where you put in your chosen Teamspeak address. Port is the numbers at the end of the address, if they have those. Ex: vs26.tserverhq.com:7244

 

DON'T FORGET TO PUT YOUR NICKNAME (IN-GAME NAME) IN THE NICKNAME BAR!

 

Step 3 (Optional, but recommended):

Here is where you want to set up preferences for Teamspeak, like being able to see people in other channels, unless the server you joined has permissions to prevent that.

I would recommend and for my clan members, require, that you have Subscribe To All switched to on. This allows you to see people who are in different channels.

 

Turn Push-To-Talk to Voice Activation so you can use Teamspeak and play Blitz

 

 

Hope this helps and saves a bunch of people time.

Could someone recommend a good headset & mic (combo) that works for this with iPad in Blitz?  Been looking in all the wrong places I think!

I just use my EarPodsetup with the inline mic that came with my iPhone. I plug that into my iPad and it works great. :)

 If you're looking for Teamspeak setup, use Lephturn's suggestion.

 

My suggestion is use Teamspeak on your computer. It's more simpler and doesn't cost anything, unlike the iOS version.

What do you mean? If you're asking for a WoT Teamspeak server, there isn't one. There are individual clan Teamspeaks but that is it.

First things First: pictures nice call.  Second this would be a very helpful thing to know because, most the people I play with go to a slaughter house and then it is me by my self. Lastly, What does it take it be in your clan.

Just updated the guide. Removed step 2 because identities aren't needed to keep your name. Just type your preferred Teamspeak name in the Nickname bar for each bookmark you make.
