I keep having a sporadic isue when doing full turns to the left or right. Sometimes without any change to the controller, the tank starts turning in the opposite direction. Usually this happens right at the wrong moment and the player I am trying to turn into gets a gift and kills me.... am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

Welcome to the forums! Your are experiencing what we call lag. The better  internet connection, the fewer issues you'll have.

This can also happen due to turret trying to go one way, and your turning another, in arcade view and you get crossed up, especially if you are in auto aim and they are moving also.

Sir this game is an online game and you are having LAGitis on your phone Restart the game and get closer to your wifi router to fix the problem

Yea if your ping is above 200, your probably going to experience bad lag, if you did everything that everyone else here suggested and it still is like that you may want to get a new internet service. This happen to me in the past and sometimes it got bad. Worst ping was > 2 million

OP, I had this problem too, and it wasn't ping related for me.

Try reseting your control scheme (joystick, fire button, etc) back to default, and see if the problem goes away. It did for me.

Weird stuff does happen in game, unrelated to the internet.

 

My very first game in a session usually starts with some mild lag (100-200) compared to where it usually sits at around fifty. Most games early on start with a ping of 100+ for the first 30 secs. Then it drops down to 30-50. 

Recently I have actually seen the fire button activating on its own, just randomly shooting whatever the barrel happens to be aimed at the start of the game. First time you think huh, maybe I had my thumb to close while panning the screen, take right thumb two inches away from the screen, keep driving and it does it again!  No explanation.

Lag - known as latency - is when traffic gets delayed coming from or going to your device.  Gaming data when playing online (especially for shoot-em-up games like Blitz that are fairly fast-paced and precision-oriented) needs to be as fast as possible.  Sometimes your internet service provider can't do that all the time.  But often it's your hardware that's the problem.  Read this post to see how you can improve the situation at your location:
