Good:

  1. CHAT BUG FINALLY FIXED!
  2. New Japanese tanks. Despite the fact that lower tiers are infested with them, they look to be decent tanks
  3.  New Himmelsdorf map. I find that mediums can play a vital role. Not just heavies and TD's. Good job on the map WG. Kudos
  4. New Lost Temple map looks really stunning. Even though everyone still goes temple, it looks so much brighter and less gloomy
  5. Removal of lower tier modules.
  6. Free garage slot :)
  7. And the best thing about 2.4 is... "
  8. Fixed direction of rotation for the track rollers on the T95"

Bad

  1. Sometimes, my controls doesn't seem to be responding. But it could just be me but I've noticed it more frequently that my shots aren't registered and my tank won't move
  2. Himmelsdorf is harder to get. When Canal was released, I instantly got it right away. I've only gotten Himmelsdorf 3 times out of the 70 or so games I've had. But that's just me complaining

Ugly

  1. New interface. It was bad enough that they changed the Service Record interface a while back, but just as I was getting used to it, they changed it again. Why? Now the section where they show what nation and type of tanks that you play is all screwed up. Everything is jumbled up. Also, the tech tree interface is just plain confusing and bad.
  2. Removal of "info" icon. Just plain annoying. I use it to compare my tanks but now I have to open up the tech tree and view the tank, then try and memorize it and then switch back to the other tank back in the tech tree and try and compare them.

Overall: I like the update. I'm not a fan of the cons, but the pro's cancel them out. I have yet to see a major game killing bug so that is a big plus.

You forgot the new automatic global messaging in game chat. What a stupid change that is. Ugly for sure!

Don't forget the chat went global without knowing.  Players giving away position without noticing whole world was reading the message!

I actually find Himmelsdorf horrible for mediums and I would rather be a Leopard in Copperfield than have to play any medium in Himmelsdorf.

I've only played the lower tier Japs so far since the update, so the removal of the info tab is a pain when I have no clue of stats of a tank when I'm building up the Jap tech tree. Haven't played reworked maps/added maps yet, so right now, not a fan of the update! Also, I kinda would have thought there would be a sale for the update...guess they ate waiting until closer to Christmas. Best for last?

I had some really good games in a med in H-town today. I've been going towards the rail yard every game (that I'm in a medium). I quickly skirt the outside of the long brick wall next to the "ditch" and I've been lucky enough to pop up on Red's flank just as the green heavies were beginning to engage. I don't know if it would work in a slower medium, but it proved to be effective in my Comet, Panther and VK 30.02M.

Give me fuel, give me fire, give me that which I desire...

IX: E75, IS-8, ST-1  /  VIII: T32, T-44, Pershing / VII: T20, Comet, Panther, Type 5 Chi-Ri

PREM: T34, IS-6, KV-5, Type 59, Jagdtiger 8,8, Panther/M10, SU-100Y, PzIV Hydro, T14, Excelsior, Pz V/IV, SU-85i, AC1 Sentinel, Pz.B2, Pz.S35, BT-SV, M22 Locust, Pz.IIJ, Ke-Ni Otsu, T-127, T-15, LTP, T7, Tetrarch, '70 VW Westfalia Camper Bus (formerly 22friarfan19)

Maybe it's my graphical settings, but the reflection of the sun across the water makes it look like all the waters around the Temple are contaminated with orange juice.

Maybe that's why the dragon is flying away from the temple, he must not like orange juice.

Another thing I noticed is my platoon mate was a M103, and it appears the Chi-Ri is a bigger tank overall, yet it is still a medium. I get the stats are different and the weights noted would elude to the Chi-ri being a medium, but its overall size is bigger. Why did the Americans make their smaller tank 19 tons heavier unless they did it cuz they wanted the heaviest tanks cuz 'Murica?

The Dork has Spoken!

I'm still a noob, but my luck has changed. Yours can to.

Don't stress about stats. Enjoy the game!

...and that the Kenny Otsu had the crew reduced to 50%!  As a premium tank, I'm sure this is an error but how long will we have to wait for WG to fix it?

It's a tier 3. Play 5 games you can get it back to 100%. Unless it is stuck at 50%...

How is chat during the game  now global?  I always click on the icon for team chat.  Does this button now behave differently?

They removed the info button and all the tank specs!!!! That blows, this has been reduced to an arcade game.  Those specs made all the difference in this game. They brought a historical realism to the game. That you could see the true weight speed and firing times etc, and compare tanks as to what to upgrade.  Without that info this game has lost its essence and gone bimbo video game route instead. Big loss and a lot less interesting to play. What code writing numb nut thought that was a good idea. You programmers need to know what to leave well enough alone.
