Each time I try to play I can not join in to the game.  Once or twice I've joined in in the final minute, more often I don't join the match at all or I join when I've been destroyed.  I have had some problems previously but none like this.  Is my device (Nook HD+) not able to handle the updated game?

 

Can anyone help me, Ireally enjoy this game?

Sounds like something on your end,; wifi, device etc. as I get this exact thing with a poor/slow wifi connection.

Turn all your settings to low and double check your ping/connection. I don't know about your device but maybe send something to customer service asking if there are known compatibility issues (especially with update) or if they have performance suggestions. Good luck.

Try the latest updated version from the Google Store, WoTB 2.4.2

That fixed the pre-battle delay problem for me on my Nexus 9.

I'm on iOS and games will crash on me, but I managed to keep it under control from crashing a lot. I just swipe up all the apps to close it properly by double pressing the home button or I reset it by holding the power/sleep button and the home button at the same time to reset it.

Current version in Google Play is 2.4.0.164. 2.4.2 is not available for install.

Yes , version 2.4.0.164 in Google Play is the patched version of 2.4, which sadly, didn't help with this problem at all for me.
