So since the buff of late 2015 to the IS-7, I find that this tank is unbalanced and proves to be the biggest challenge to put down when facing against it. I find that it's lower profile is lower than most other tier 10 heavy tanks and with the additional HP, along with the mobility and alpha of the gun, a clan wars soldier should be driving this tank as YOU WILL HAVE AN ADVANTAGE IN AN IS-7 OVER OTHER HEAVY TANKS. It's like war gaming knows what it did and if you haven't taken a look at the IS-7 as your preferred clan wars tank, you should.

The only thing I've found is it still can be ammo racked easier than other tier 10 heavies. However it's not often as a medium so I wouldn't make that the reason I didn't drive this tank. Low profile heavies are few and far between. The upcoming Japanese and Chinese heavies are all larger footprints/silhouette than any of the Russian tanks. It's a must have heavy.

When your out playing, see how often a IS-7 platoon holds up against most other tandems. It's a beast heavy and should be on your gind list if not already. Heck I'm an average player and it allows me to win over 62% of the time so there is some advantage it has over others.

So if you don't have a Russian bias in your garage, you should.

I agree with everything you said, however, this tank is in the hands of sooooo many noobs.  I saw one yesterday charge the back wall at despair completely in disregard that my STI hull down way back was his only support and he got rekt in an instant.

And then I watch E-100s kill me from 100 meters away even though I am hulldown. I would be happier with literal cardboard for armor, at least the leopard gets a reliable gun to go with tier 5 armor.

E100 is the strongest heavy at tier ten

every other heavy just withers away under its 150mm cannon

480-800 damage, it feels good to have your lowest  possible damage nearly match their highest possible

This. Why the hell does wargaming use these statistics to figure out what tanks to buff/nerf. Its skewed by idiots so much that some tanks (mainly tanks with mobility) are pretty overpowered when used by a smart player. I dont think there are any tanks that are TOO overpowered, but just a little in the right hands.

I agree Pitt - the buff has made the IS-7 the go-to heavy tank of tier 10.  The IS-4 and E-100 are easily negated thanks to poor maneuverability and flat armor so I've never really found those lines interesting - though I note a lot of people say a well-angled IS-4 is nothing to sniff at.  And of course good players drive mediums and simply get around any armor anyway ;)

Everyone forgets about US heavies at tier 10? I'd think them to be the best, all around.

Well, watching other IS-7s it looks like you can just point and shoot.  With the E5 there's more to protect.

most E100 drivers suck. The good news is that it actually has some penetration unlike the IS7

I think this is false, E5 has better gun, more pen, more accuracy better lower plate, more mobile and no ammo rack damage. All in all, the E5 is more competitive

I would argue for the E5 as being the best tier X heavy. Its pretty mobile, enough to rival slow mediums like the FV-4202, and is very well armored. The only two frontal weakspots are the lower glacis plate, which is easily hidden, and the cupola, which is more troll thn it is weak, and can easily be negated by wiggling, or hiding it behind buildings. The gun is also insane. It's accurate, and has more punching power than the L7. The E5 and the T-54 are the only 2 real MBTs in Blitz really.

E100 pen? Where?

235 pen sounds like a little less than 248 or whatever the IS-7 has. Unless you're talk about prammo. Then I would disregard this post.

yes i mean with premium, that is penetration. An E100 beats an IS7 every time

Don't forget about the e50m. A medium with armor tougher than a tiger 2 and almost equal to that of the e75? It can fulfill a lot of roles too and that's right along the definition of a main battle tank, right? You can extend this argument for the e50 as well, but the Ausf M is just such a better tank in nearly every way.
