Calling all Cent 7/1 pros and wannabes. I just made it up to buying my first Tier 9 tank and I need some input on how to equip it. I already bought the Gun Rammer but if you could tell me what other two piece of equipment you would add and why, that would help me make the decisions necessary as I go forward. Thanks in advance! :D

Hey!

Just in general tanks should be equipped with a gun rammer and crew ventilation as it helps with the main stats of the tank, but i personally put a enhanced Gun Laying Drive on mine to decrease the aiming time. It also helps just in general to not expose yourself for too long.

I would use Vstabs and wet ammorack for the other slots, but you could replace the wet ammorack for something like GLD, vents, or optics if you are careful. The ammorack is located in the front and takes dmg easily

Tier 9s and 10s: T110E5, T30, E75, T-54, Centurion 7/1, STB-1, M48 Patton, T110E3, IS-7, IS-4, Obj 140, Obj 263, FV215b, FV215b (183)

Gotta get rammer, the reload is too long for a med without it. You should also get vertical stabilizers, as it stablizes your gun not only when moving (essential for mediums) but also when turning your turret. Lastly, I went with optics to increase my view range, as getting the first shot off is always important.

Rammer, Vert Stabs and Optics is a standard loadout for a medium tank. If your medium tank can't use Vert Stabs, then use vents instead

Rammer - faster reload

vents - better everything but makes the gun slightly more accurate

vstab - makes pop up snap shots from hull down more accurate

Rammer, vents and... I actually never equipped a 3rd item.

The Dork has Spoken!

I'm still a noob, but my luck has changed. Yours can to.

Don't stress about stats. Enjoy the game!

fans, vert, gun laying drive?

i've swapped back and forth between the 120 and 20 pdr.  one is a flank hesh shooter, the other is a rapid fire perma tracker.

I love kemping bush

I went with Rammer, Vstab and optics and am liking it much better now that I have the L7A1 instead of the 20 pdr.  Rammer and Vstab seem to be the main consensus, with the third slot open for what you prefer.  Some people like Wet Ammo Racks as the rack does tend to get hit pretty often.  Others like vents for the general boost.  I went with optics as it already has the best medium spotting range at tier IX (265 meters), and I wanted to get as much as I could with that.  Counterargument for optics is you shouldn't be doing much spotting with a 7/1 as it's really more of a second line tank.  :bush:

rammer, vents, optics.  it's not a brawler until late game.  find a ridge and work it using your excellent view range
