The thing that really surprises and strongly disappoints me, buckeyeinpit, from someone like you who from what it looks like has armed forces training and experience, is that:

- you fail to recognize tank roles

- you fail to recognize how poorly armored some tds can be

- you fail to adapt in battle

- you don't know the difference between sniping (effective) and camping (ineffective)

- there's  only one way in battle and it is your way

- you curse out anybody on your team without merit, contributing to team distractions, team losses and continuing escalating viotriol in game

All you know is brawn and brawl, close quarters.

Surely you know that there are variations o that, and have seen effective snipers save you from the second row or hill in the back.

All your anger and focus in this game and most particularly this thread is misplaced. None of the people here are campers. We largely are motivated tankers with higher win rates who try to adapt the best we can according to the tank we're in, the map, the teams, the battle, ....

It is time for you to take your blinders off and time  to adapt ... Time to adapt

Probably the single biggest issue in this game. If you are on mines on the bad side with no mediums and just slow heavies. Rushing the hill might not be wise. You have to assess the team construction and make smart decisions accordingly. If I am in a medium on the TD laden team, then my new job is to help bait the reds into shooting lanes so my team can lay waste to them. Improvise, adapt, overcome. Kinda simple thought process that is lost on many.

Of course you do cause you weren't there.  The 95 attacked the whole game. Never stopped to camp.  GREAT JOB 95!

of course it couldn't be that the t95 has impenetrable armor compared to the tanks it faced and held back the enemy team enough to allow another tanker to excel at sniping the enemy team

Marines are fine individually.  Great guys to have at your side.  The organization; however, is full of itself.  Probably better at self promotion than either the Airforce or Army, and better than the rest of its superior branch (Navy).  Even in WW II, you think hit the beach, you think Marine, right?  But the US Army (along with our allies) was the major force hitting the beaches in every European amphibious assault, including the biggest of all time. I think there were about 40 or so Marines involved in some capacity at Normandy.

In the Pacific, you think "that's where the Marines were."  And they were and did a great job.  Except even there, the US Army had more landings with more men.

keep taking it off topic.   And making excuses.  The 95 did great.  Others not so much.  But hey if you want to camp in a 95 be all that you can be.

yes and I apologize for slight derailment but Im glad wg is looking into a possible fix.

Using spotting and your initial camo values to an advantage was the best way to get things done. So the actual nerf to tanks that used net for added benefits get nowhere near what they were before.

It's not like everyone uses the in game mechanic mainly yolo proximity spotting is what gets done

I am also glad that WG is looking into it.  My tanks won't personally benefit that much, since I don't really like TDs (only have 2), but a hidden and well placed TD can rain hell on the Reds given appropriate spotting.  I love having a hidden TD that knows what it is doing on, for example Black Goldville, if I can get to caves and have it wreck the Reds that are trying to dislodge me.

So now you endorse camping????  You know a 28 is a 95 without Armour right?

I started this thread because I wanted to discuss the drastic camo net nerf in 2.4 and I didn't want it to get lost amidst the new MM discussions. But it got lost even in its own thread.

Mods, please lock this thread.
