First off, props to WG for an incredible implementation of a long-awaited wishlist item. It looks GREAT, doesn't hinder performance - FPS is still the same as before on my ye old iPad Mini 1st gen which still gets 50-60 FPS. Honestly, camo is a masterpiece that takes the appearance of tanks in this game to another level. Would that they had vintage camo for the tanks, but I am not complaining. WG has absolutely outdone themselves here.
However - let's just say it... camo is purely aesthetic. 2% for a heavy? So on a view range of 240m, that means the reds need to be 5m closer before you're spotted. Is that worth the cost of camo? I don't think so - at all.
The camo values need to be bumped WAY up to make a difference. Start at 5% for heavies, 7.5% for mediums, and 10% for lights and TDs - and add its effectiveness when equipped with the camo net. So if the camo net gets you 20% to start (and it should!), then tack on the paint camo value to the net's camo value.
Otherwise, it has no tactical value, and that's a shame, given how hard WG must have worked on this.
