On my Nvidia shield tablet.
What a mess.
Stick with the phone I guess.
A shame to shelve the shield though.

You got that right. No, I've never rooted anything. Wouldn't know how, don't want to know how.
When I first installed the app it played great. Then the 2.4 ruined it with app crashes constantly. 2.5 not much better.
Jumped through all the "support" hoops with no satisfaction.
Like u said, shouldn't be like this with the Shield.
And I pretty much have nothing on it. All stock except for a calculator app and quick pic. And I'm not deleting Quick pic.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling. If that doesn't work, check your settings to see what services/applications/processes are running in the background. Try rebooting device. If possible, try removing battery, and turn it back on again. If none of that works, press and hold the power button (while on). When the popup pops up, press and hold the power off option. A dialogue box should pop up talking about Safe Mode. Click "Okay" or whatever to accept its reboot in Safe Mode. Then go to settings and see what things are in background. Make note of which are running in background only in regular mode. Then press and hold power button, and click "Reboot." If none of that works, TEMPORARILY remove other apps you downloaded and try playing Blitz. If that doesn't fix it, reinstall them. Oh, and make sure Blitz is on your device's memory and not the SD card. That can mess with it. If you aren't willing to uninstall other non default apps, transfer them to the SD card and turn off device. Then remove SD card, and reboot.
Hope one of these fixes your problem. Maybe contact Nvidia if the issue persists and ask about any reports of Blitz not working on Nvidia Shield Tablet. I'm considering buying one myself, so I'm nearly as eager as you to have this issue resolved. Let us know if it isn't resolved.

I did some of this with the 2.4 but I'll try it all again over the weekend, Tanks!

No good, crashed on my second battle. I was able to get back on and we won the battle, I actually survived and
was able to get a kill after the crash but I WILL NOT BE USING THIS AGAIN BECAUSE I HATE PUTTING MY TEAM AT A ONE TANK DISADVANTAGE!!! It crashed on my second game. I'm tired of this crap!!!!!
I would not recommend buying this tablet until the issue is resolved.

I don't believe in doing factory resets unless there is an issue with the device itself but I may do one out of desperation.

Nvidia was not much help. They said if the issue is with the App, not much can be done by Nvidia
and they said since no trouble with other games, this issue probably isn't with device.
For future reference I am now upgrading the OS to Marshmallow. Probably won't be much
help but we shall see.
Again, I wont rec this tablet for this game. Buyer beware

I just upgraded the system to Marshmallow, I doubt this will
help but let's see.

12 battles on new OS. No crashes........................
yet.

Late yesterday and today my tablet has become useless.
2500 ping.
I have no idea what is going on.
Ookla speedtest tell me I'm getting
close to the speeds I'm paying for but
I notice slowing down (buffering) of
youtube on my lap top.
Any ideas folks?
This has turned my tablet into a paper weight.
I have the TP-Link AC 1900 wireless router.

Over 6 minutes and I'm still waiting for the game to log me in.
Something is definitely amiss here.

9 minute wait to log into game and I gave up. Later, after a 90 second wait,
I was on but the ping indicator was red so I don't dare even try to battle.
Only battle on tablet today was a 2500 ping debacle. Couldn't move.
Something happened over the weekend. Yesterday was ok.
Now, nothing.
I'm wondering if the bad weather in the east coast has
something to do with it. Maybe I should call cable co.
Grrrrrrrrr!
