The M109 is a beauty, and the biggest tank to ever stand is le German DORA xD

not weird looks like one of the incarnations of the MBT70...predecessor of the M1 Abrams...designed in the late 1960's early 70's....was too ambitious and far ahead of its time...the M1 was actually a lower technnology option that later came to fruitition...you see these on display on museums and some Army facilities on static display..

That's an MBT-70; one of the prototypes was on display at an intersection at Fort Knox when I lived there as a kid. I think I even had a model of it way back when.

 

And it would be Tier X all day long.

Two completely different tanks. The starship was an m60 with an experimental turret equipped with the 152, while the mbt-70 was a completely fresh design jointly developed by the US and Germany. The mbt-70 was supposed to be the next mbt before it ran into serious cost overruns and design complexities. It coulda been magical, but the project was canceled and instead the Leo 2 and Abrams were created to become the next MBTs.

 

This thing would probably be like a tier 12 or something in this game. The thing is it's time period wouldn't be too far off, since I think it might even predate the stb-1, but the technological innovations on this thing were so far ahead of anything during this time. There was no one sitting in the hull (driver was in the turret), the 152 mm gun/missile launcher was devastatingly powerful yet still plagued with problems, the suspension could adjust on the go, and I believe this thing had composite armor as well.
