also, playing while in a car using data, that could also be a big cause for afkers. So, in the car, JUST DONT PLAY.

Internet problems. Reset your router cause internet speed can play a big part in it. Also, how much empty space your device has, cause the more empty space your device has, the better it can run the app. and how old your device is can affect it as well.

AFKrs really hurt their teammates. Hate losing when 1 or 2 are AFK. I'm having IPad crash problems every 5-6 games. Game motion gets jerky and I know a crash is imminent. When the game reloads the battle is usually over or I wake up dead. I know it's not fair to my teammates but I love WOTB and don't want to quit playing. I wonder how many other players have the same problem and are blamed for being negligent or not fully engaging?

While driving you become hyper alert to surroundings identifying escape routes, and good defensive positions, and realize crap I'm in my car not a tank.

Love the idea,
If you could spend 24 7 on implementing ridding us of these slacked jawed yahoos, we as players would appreciate it!
Kidding on the 24 7 of course, but dang, sooner the better.

Wait.. I don't understand. WHY would anyone deliberately AFK? What purpose does it serve these "serial AFKers" to do that?
Are they just trolling? But that seems like an awful lot of work to just leave your tank as a sitting duck target for the reds.
I get the occasional AFK.. it happened to me two games in a row last night. MAN was I ticked. I wanted to PLAY!
But, you guys are saying there are people who CHOOSE to AFK?
...scratches head.. baffled at that...
Don't be seen. Don't get hit. Choose your shots carefully. And be PATIENT! You have 7 minutes for crying out loud!
Oh.. and don't get hit. Did I mention "Don't get hit?"... Yah.. don't get hit.
(For someone with a signature like this.. I sure get a lot of "Steel Wall" medals. Ugh.)

I just wanted to update the community on what we're going to be doing about the serial AFK issue. As I mentioned in my last producer post we wanted to handle this systematically so we can better take action against serious offenders. Part of this process is building a profile of the serial-AFK player and right now I have the first half of the data and we will be reconciling this with another batch of stats. By reviewing the two results from different time periods we can be more confident that the players we identify as fitting the profile will receive appropriate action. These actions will range from a 3 day ban to a perma ban.
This will be a living process as we continue to refine the AFK profile. There may be offenders that fall through the dragnet so if you see something say something (in the form of a support ticket)

The best solution to that is buy a new device, or don't play until the error is corrected. If it crashes on you in game and your AFK, cover your own tracks and submit a Ticket to note the in-game crash.
I Love it when you call me Big Poppa, I love it when she calls me Big Daddy!
