Playing the M46 Patton on Himmelsdorf. A red IS-3 has been battered and is hiding among the little "humps" of dirt against buildings. For fun, I flank around and jump the dirt hill and land directly on top of him. His health quickly counts down until he explodes. I drive off and we finish the others off for a win. But the battle screen doesn't credit me for the kill. It credits the E-75, the last tank to shoot him, for the kill. But the E-75 was long gone by the time I came and "squashed" the IS-3. And the IS wasn't on fire, so that couldn't be the reason either.

The IS-3 counts as Destroyed if you land on him...

Thanks to Zennosha and/or Panbun, I have a shiny new signature! Thank you!

First of all, awesome job for finding the opportunity and killing him like that.

Game mechanics don't credit you the kill for squashing (nor, I believe, for pushing into water and drowning) but I do think it credits you for the damage.

What a shame, i think it should be counted as a kill. At least does the damage count as dealt?

Yea. I killed a T20 that way but I died because of the ram damage. I still got the damage though.

There's been a lot of talk about this kind of thing in [TVMT].
