Agreed, I absolutely love the Dicker Max. Abuse it's gun depression! I think it is my highest rated tank in top 100. Top 5 N/A woot woot! 

 

In in my opinion it is a very Underated tank and misunderstood. People do not use the Dicker to its strengths but only latch on to the weak items. When people realize it has no armor, mediocre speed they immidiatly write it off as bad. The gun is incredible on the thing and the gun depression is even better. Stay hidden and abuse terrain but I digress.

I do, I do anyway, and I don't.  It's not an easy nut to crack.

 

Most matches: I suggest a direction, watch where green heads, follow them and find... A SHRUBBERY!!!! (with a little path running down the middle for a two-level effect)  I plant, wait ~5 for the camo to kick in, find a target, fire, miss, maybe hit, am spotted, attempt to reposition, and explode.  It can't perma-track like the decent TDs to stop a medium closing in, it can't quickly back out of the way or make use of any gun depression, and its armor only gets the occasional troll bounce.

My win rate in SU-100 is 71% and in the D-max is 50%. I'm ranked 622nd in North America on the SU-100 and 93rd on the D-max.

 

Obviously that is roughly the same skill level and that resulted in a 21% higher win rate in the SU-100.

 

You know how many D-max players in NA have a 71% win rate in the tank? Five. All of them show very high platoon rates. I would bet quite a bit that they would be sub-70 in the D-max solo.

Yeah, it does. I had enormous trouble with the tank at first. I watched a few videos on how to play it, and suddenly I was winning something like 60% of my games in it. OTOH, I never watched a thing on how to play the SU-100 and I've won 71% of my games in that.

I aced SU-100, but I still believe it was a fluke. Was working on the anko mission for my kid, and aced it. The irony was that the anko mission temporary overwrote the Tier 6 Ace mission! and I don't think I can ever ace that thing again. It was a tier 8 battle and I just happened to be in a perfect spot for sniping, not too far not too close. A lot of prammo (bloody red IS-6s were all over the place). The only thing that helped was that I'm used to the Russian 122mm gun (I use it on KV-1S, KV-3, IS). and after playing a lot on KV-2, 122mm feels super duper accurate.

The Dicker Max is awesome. Great gun depression, hard hitting shell. Have to play it smart.

 

Now I will say I loved my SU-100 but yeah, I wouldn't consider it to be any kind of sniper. Unless you're patient enough to wait for a target to sit still out of cover for a lengthy period of time.

I used Bino's, Net (pre-nerf) and Rammer also tried to stay as far away from the main melee as possible.

 

Never fire first or second shots of battle in allowing your mates to attract most of the attention... (I know, hard to do, right)

Net, rammer, and vents... and pray green spots at least somebody for me to shoot. Often, they prefer to either move directly in front of me, blocking my vision, or directly behind me, blocking my retreat.

Somehow I'm number 10 in the SU-100 by win rate (74.34%).  Haven't played it in ages, and have no clue how I achieved that back when I wasn't nearly as "good" as I am now.  Back then all my other top 10 tanks were around 55% win rate or lower...then there was the SU-100 stats out there in left field.  Only have a first class mastery with it.

 

Let's run a Victory/SU-100 platoon sometime Blartch.  I'll spot for you, and be fast enough to get back to help if you get into trouble.

Wow,you obvously hate the russian TDs,i loved my Su-100,especialy woth that 122mm. If your not used to the derpy russian accuracy i can see why you struggle.

I too like the hellcat, but the D-max will always remain my favorite... Until the 2nd line of German tds come....

Sure these tanks r great, but we all know who is the best tier 6 td, wait for it... The kv2! Russian stronk tenk, most accurate gun in da game, and stalin even guides ur shots! (I once fire clutch and one-shot the crappie tier 6 vk med that leads to maus)  jk jk.  But the best is surely the box tank (if u don't know it or ur new it's the behemoth known as su100y) , mostly same thing as above, but it's faster, it's heavier, and driven by an experienced player(cough cough, me, cough cough) will own u so badly that they say ur going to be injured in the next game

 

For the su100 I really liked it with the 122mm gun, 6th favorite tier 6 tank(u should know my 1st and second), I used it in the exact same way as my isu, hang back a bit and lay down support fire for ur team, never lead a charge(unless u want to get killed or steal last kill) just remember ur not a heavy tank or medium tank and sacrifice disidence to stalin(u can pull off amazing shots when u do) 

 

Now have fun in ur Russian stronk tenks! Play nice and smash their brains out
