Lookf foward to +2-2 im out of that terrible tier6 range. Tier 6 had the worst mm possible. Being only tier 6 vs 5 tier 8s. Yeah unfair. I did better with tier 5 v7 and 7vs9 but tier 6 was just terrible.

Watch increase of kv5s is6s everymatch when +2-2 comes back. It made me mad how many complained that they sucked in new mm. They didnt. Anyways let the -2 100% of matches begin.

Oh yeah...time to dust off the old KV-5 and really troll some Tier 6s...

I for one will miss the +/- 1 mm. I felt that it made higher tier games require a little more skill rather than smushing the tanks that were two tiers lower. And I enjoyed not being crushed when driving certain lower tier tanks. Hopefully the data that was collected will provide with a better experience in the future.

Hmmm... I would really enjoy knowing what the data tells WG.  And:  what kinds of things are they looking for in terms of analysis?

And... sigh... I guess I better play a lot of my Ram 2 to rehab before next week. That thing sees tier 7 in old MM... and boy does that hurt.

You can at least admit that it was much more competitive for the most part. I for one am always up to a challenge, but playing a Comet in a Tier 9 match or trying to fight Three Tier 7 Heavies in a KV-1 is not competitive nor enjoyable.

to be hinest kv1 was still fun in tier 7. in fact tier 5 was ok vs tier 7. I swear i had the most horrible expeiences with tier 6. The only ones i didnt have trouble in tier 6 was the M4Ea8 xD i miss her

Count me amongst those who are very sad to see it go. I thought it made the game much, much more fun. I'm also really curious to know what data WG is going to pore (ahem, not pour!) over. What are they looking for? More money/gold spent? More matches played?

I'm sure Sly is not allowed to say, but I'm still really curious. I do appreciate Sly letting us know what's up.

I, personally, think that MM should go to how it is on PC where it's +/-2 from tier 2 and up. That's just my opinion just so people can get used to it and so tier 5/6 isn't at a disadvantage. Or at least have +/-2 from tier 3 up

Nooooooo! I actually liked this +1/-1 mm. Tank variety has terrible and landslides happened often but skill became more viable. No longer did most players just stand and get carried. Some actually had to shoot their gun.

Tiers 9 & 10 sucked though. Some people are not worthy to have a tier 10 tank, let alone play.

They are looking at what affect it had on the game. Everything. Wait times for matches, average win rates, number of battles, average tier, money spent, tanks driven, tanks not driven, etc.

How did having +1/-1 change the game and how people played the game as a whole? Once we answer that then they will decide what to do.

is there a timeline in place to make a decision?

Cc_sly? How about the dispersion control that was introduced update 2.5? Will that remain in effect in update 2.6?

PS. I loved the +1/-1 MM.  Really enjoyed all the battles.

Thanks for the update Sly.  Don't know if this is the place for it, but I also enjoyed the +1/-1 mm.  I would vote to keep it.  Made the games more competitive and compelling.

I can't help but think this is about appeasing tier 10 players and giving by them tier 8 and 9 baby seals to club -  without the problem of dealing with any higher tiers, like 11 or 12. After all,  those who have tier 10 vehicles obviously have been playing (and paying) for quite some time. A business would be wise keeping them happy.
