I have noticed recently that after about 5 games my ping will suggenly begin behaving erratically, usually it will suddenly lag out for 5 seconds when I fire though I have seen it get bad and then get better once I die. Is it really that much data to say "shoot"? All I want in 2.6 is netcode improvements, I could care less about german lights because those autoloaders would mean that I fire one clip and then wait the rest of the game out.

Past few days were really bad. Every game had spikes into the 4-800 range. Worst match, my ping was showing at over 25000.
I'm not good at reading traceroutes, but it looked to me like one of the hops on my ISPs network was troublesome, and the final hop to the WG server was having issues too. When their powers combined.... So far today seems better.

Maybe everyone is streaming the Superbowl and using up the internet?
