Eastern standard time gets ripped off for these updates. It is right in the hour I play, why can't it be updated at like 4 in the morning or something.  Someone rain some positiveness on me please.

You are guaranteed that you win rate won't take a hit for 4 hours. Plus you get 4 hours to catch up on all those videos you been meaning to watch.

I was on earlier and the game was lagging bad, is that something that will be better in the update or is that problem on my end.

because we don't live in Russia.  Or wg is concerned about us staying up to 2am waiting for game to go live lol

Of course I win my free day of premium time with one of my missions and now I can't use it.

Check your ping rate and your frames per second. If your ping is under 100 and your fps at 60 then it's the game.
