Ok I know I really suck, but the last 4 games I've been in direct close quarters battle and have watched their HP go down but once game ends says I inflicted no damage. 39 direct hits to enemy with no penetration. Did I leave home with my airsoft rifle no k/y?

Are you using sniper mode? Sniper mode shows you the hit skin of a tank. Remember not to hit the red spot of a tank as it will bounce, only shoot at the gray areas. If you see all red, it's time to switch to premium ammo - APCR / HEAT. Premium ammo can be bought with credit btw!

Stop doing that. Load mostly AP and some APCR and only a few HE.

Their HP goes down because other people are hitting them. Go to forums and watch some videos and read about how to play various tank types.  DO NOT buy up to higher tiers until you learn maps and game play basics tier 4 and below.  REPEAT: do not play above tier 4 until you learn maps and game play basics.

Lol, I too funny but I was in an out of sniper mode. Obviously using AP from far out. And I usually load bout 5 HE for close proximity for eye popping wallpaper splash. Never waste money on that other ammo. And thank you for the explanation of others lowering HP, but on 2 of those occasions it was either just the two of us and I was shooting backside gas tank non red side panel small ammo front side in lower area axel shot. Sorry to say no He or AP track shots or destructions else would've known definite problem. But anyways by the sounds of everyones responses there isn't any such problem occurring below them, so I'll get back out there and if still a prob I'll be sure to contact help. Thanks for resourcefulness, can never receive enough wisdom from so many. Thanks for your time.

I have been having the same issue, where it says hits did not pen "that one didn't go through" and only counted 1 hit according to the sound system. When I looked back at the stats it says I penned 3 hits and not 1

I play on Android, I have been noticing some time when I target and shoot a tank it is like I am shooting blanks.  I have had this happen several times.  That includes shooting straight on and not in ared zone.  Anyone else having the same thing happen?

Aside from the hitbox in sniper mode versus ammuniton choice, be sure your ping is 2 digits and your FPS is higher than at least 40

Same thing here. And, no it's not others hitting the same tank. I shoot and score and after the game  ends it says , 0, I hit nothing! Also entire games where every shot misses or like the op, nothing pens. Next game, I use the same tank shooting at the same type of tank and it pens? The game is the problem, not the player.

You seem unhappy with the game and Wargaming as a company. You've been blaming the game for your actions. I've no idea why you haven't quitt
