T1 heavy for me wasn't that great of a tank, but I found a way to make it fun, just look through all the stats and you'll know

Now if you got triggered by me (for whatever reason) and you're angry, here is what I'll be like while you cry!

Im the odd one: I loved the M3 Lee and despised everything about the T1 (T1 was the reason I delayed getting the E5 until the M4 Jumbo came out).

Tier Xs: M48 Patton, E100, T110E4, T110E5, Maus, T57

The Lee is a terrible medium, but it's a great tank destroyer.

This is where playing those Avalon Hill board games really helped me do well with the General Lee. I treated it like a super high profile tank destroyer and it served me quite well.

I got 3 mastery in the Lee I personally tthink it is one of the most fun tanks in the game. But I guess people have different opinions.
I play the M3 Lee for fun.

I'm the #200 ranked T1 player on the server, and I can say I love it. I use it as a battering ram, to break the enemy line. It's built for ramming. If I'm low tier, the speed allows me to flank with the mediums to make sure they crush the flank.

I loved the M3. I did pretty well in it as an assault tank. The gun is incredible.

M6 was a bit of a let down...more hp...but basically a T1 having to compete one tier higher.

T29? Awesome...but like the t32 even more! Just got my m103 last night,  and it's awesome. So maneuverable for a heavy, great accuracy, decent gun. Great jack of all trades tank.

The M3 isn't bad, it is just more of a TD really, like what was said. I also don't think the T1 and M6 are that bad either, They are more like 'Heaviums'. The Jumbo is a great tank, so either way is good.

the M26 Pershing saw service in WWII, it was considered a heavy at the time.

Up until T29, the US heavies are free damage for enemy team. Worst designs of the war, I feel.

I actually disagree with this. The t1 is a good tank in its own tier and almost acts like an armored medium with a slow reload. It's got a faster reload than the pz iv and better armor too. Then when you go to tier 6 if you choose the m4a3e2 you can work wonders. It's decent armor and fast gun make it deadly if it manages to flank. And then of course there is the much beloved t29.

Love the t1!  700 plus battles, 65% wr, 905 avg dmg. Most proud of the four Kolobanov medals.

To me the big thing is keeping those sides hidden--very big and soft. Many enemy tanks have a tough time hurting you frontally so you gotta keep traversing the tank body so frontal armor is all they see if attacking in the open. (If you ever face a crusader, just plow straight at him, always keeping him in front.) This tank is faster than most expect and better rof than most give it credit for. You can almost keep up with the mediums if you have to...and support heavier tanks if you must. Very versatile. Oh and I carry multi repair AND tank repair cause u gonna get tracked. (Plus adrenaline when you need it...)

As others said about M3, play it like a td. Good pen and damage when you need it and I think pretty accurate gun. Clunky cause of the turretless play but fast enough to get around that. I think my Lee wr is slightly higher than t1 but with only about 100 battles.

Both tanks greatly benefitted from the +1-1 matchmaking imo.
