Server Connection Has Been Lost

Pretty much every time I try to add or block someone, or private chat I get the message "Server Connection Has Been Lost". I can check their profile, add them as a friend through their profile, play the game, be in global chat and all is fine, but otherwise I keep getting the Server Connection message. 

 

Is it something on my end? I didn't see a topic on it so it can't be too widespread, but it's a really persistent problem for me.

Nope, no crashing, no lagging. Everything is fine except for private chat.

I'm having a recurrent problem with WOT Blitz on my iPad 2.0. The game is getting stuck at "Connecting to Game Center". I've rebooted my iPad a couple of times and no change. I know my WLAN and broadband is working, and I know the device is connected. 

 

Oddly, it works on my iPhone 4S, just difficult for me to play. 

 

What can I do to be able to play on my iPad?

I would try closing WOTB in the background, opening the Gamecenter app first, making sure you're logged in, and then opening WOTB.

I've done all the troubleshooting mentioned and no change. I'm going to uninstall and reinstall and see if that fixes it.

If I delete the app off of my iPad and it deletes the data. Will it still be protected on my WOT account?

This is usually due to a network setting on your iPad. All you have to do is go into settings, and under the General tab, click Reset > Reset Network Settings. After, a simple restart should fix you problem.

This will not affect your Wargaming account. You can delete the game all you want, your stuff will still be there. The only way to fully delete your account is if you request it.

I have tried pretty much everything, uninstall and reinstall, reset iPad network setting, resetting router everything. Still getting 'Failed to connect to the server' error.

That seems to be a different issue. My comment was originally for those who get stuck at "Connecting to Game Center.."

 

For that issue, I would send in a support ticket and they can investigate the issue further.
