Hey guys,

I'm planning to revisit the British TD branch that I abandoned mid-way through AT 8. I still have some gold leftover from the Warchest I bought yesterday, about 4500 left, so I have this at my disposal in case some gun grinds are atrociously bad.

I found the British TDs fairly fun until the AT 8, which I came to detest. It was slow, the stock gun was terrible, and I really had no clue how to play it. Maybe it was because I was playing it while the other unicums were grinding it, because it seemed like everything was penetrating my commander's hatch and stuff, but I really did not like it and could not succeed. However, it is currently the only branch that I have not yet reached tier 8, so I have to grind it.

Any tips? I heard that the AT 8 and the AT 7 play almost identically. I have no idea how to play the AT 15 nor the Tortoise. I don't plan on getting the Death Star until the far future.

~

The At8 is a mid range support TD. You have about 200 mm of frontal armor, so wiggle the front. The machine gun port on the side is a weakspot so so wiggle that as well. Just keep wiggling.

It amazes how many people sit stock still and let you zero in on the cupolas.  Keep it jumping around and they can be evil tanks.   Sit still and they're a piece of cake to kill.

I gave up at the AT7. The AT8 grind was painful and the prospect of an even longer awful grind was too much. I'll go back to it one day, but I'll be free XPing a lot.

I started the line at at-7 (the only use of CGC) so I dont have any clues on how to play at-8. At-7 has a low depression/elevation so dont try to hull down. At-7 is great in town fight if u manage to get only ur gun at a corner and just out-DPM everyone. At-15 and tortoise have the same gameplay, the only difference is that you can play at-15 much more aggressively due to the decent armor and smaller weak spot than tortoise.

Tier 10s: fv-215b, fv-215b (183), obj.140, obj.268, fv-4202

Premium tanks: kv-5, is-3 defender, Lowe, pz4 anko, kuro mori

CGC? Conqueror Gun Carriage? 280mm Mortar? What do you mean there's only one use?

Thanks to Zennosha and/or Panbun, I have a shiny new signature! Thank you!

Heard that the AT-8 was like a filler tank, kind of like the Chi-To, a buffed Chi-Nu with better hp pool.

Use your fantastic frontal armor and try to hide your cupola.

Go church GC its way better than at. Imo..... Max gun packs a punch. I didnt have much trouble even with little armor on it. The gun makes up for it

Lemme rustle your jimmies. I swear it won't annoy you. Much.

Being a unicum would be boring. That's why I'm not a unicum.

I went the Churchill Game Carrier route to but this may help when you get to AT-7
