So,I've decided to grab a $15 gift card this friday(tmr) and was wondering if the t20 is worth free XPing to from the E8 and if so is the M26P. Worth it too?I know for the fact that gun depressions are what makes this line fun and the decently strong mantlet but the pershing is know for bad pen.
If none is worth it then I'll get my indien panzer back.

No no no please don't, the T20 is not a very good tank by most standards. Crappy armor and everything.

T20 is decent from what I know and it is a psuedo light tank. Put some hurt and run away. DPM sucks but ok ap pen and goldy apcr but credits suck.

The T20 is good if you know what you are doing. It's 90mm gun with 8 second reload isn't bad and it's fast and has good gun depression. I loved the T20 and it's a good support tank or heavy tank destroyer because it's small and has more pen then most tier 7 mediums.

They are great tanks but you need to be very aware and hyper active to make them work well. Get some free xp grind the tanks and use it on modules not the tank.
If you can't drive them well you're wasting money

Yes American mediums are worth it, except their mediocre tier 10 - M48 Fatton.
If you do decide to skip to T20, make sure you have it maxed with all modules, 100% crew, and equipment. If not, I suggest grinding your way up and use the free XP for modules upgrade and gold for crew training.
Stock tanks suck.
EDIT: Btw, ask me for platoon if you need help with American mediums. I do exceptionally well in them and love them to death! (Except the Fatton)

I am really liking the T20 although I'm only just shy of 80 games in it so far. The 90 mm has good pen and the gun depression is a thing of beauty compared to the Russian meds. It's great running ridge lines and being sneaky. Get into cover if you are spotted because the armour appears to be actually made of butter, I have gotten some occasional bounces off the mantlet but expect to be penned if you get hit.
It is defiantly not a knife fighter like the Russians meds and you will always end up a smoking wreck if you play it that way.
If you can handle that playstyle you should have fun with it.

free xp the modules only.
i had the misfortune to grind the t20 and pershing stock and they SUCK at stock.
they are pretty fun though.
t20 glass cannon and pershing has steonk mantlet.

Well, I seem to be one of the few, but the T20 is perhaps my best tank. I do great in it (minus SU-152 encounters) and I love it.
On the flipside, I hate the Pershing. Low pen, SLUGGISH.
Looking forward to the M46, that seems to revert back to the fast, no armor, good engine, punchy gun formula I like.

T20 sucks ?
My T20 is still part stock wih partial crew ... I have driven a lot worse stock tanks with partial crew. But maybe by the time I grind it out to the persh I will sing a different tune?
