You got it all wrong I have plenty of xp on my E8 and is maxed out,I was just wondering if its worth getting 30k xp to quickly get to the t20.But not saying the E8 is bad.

Now that you have explained the situation more I would keep grinding the E8 to get the T20. You only have 30 odd games in the E8 so far. Grinding out the rest of the XP will help you get the feel for what is coming in the T20. It is a different playstyle than Russian meds that you have been running. You should be able to grind it out easily before +2-2 comes back in the update next week.

+2-2 is coming back? is this a for sure thing?

T20 seems to be lacking in dpm compared to other tier 7 meds and it doesn't have much armor either.

However, the Pershing ranks highest among tier 8 meds, IMO. Line is worth it just for that tank.

I have fallen into a pattern of grinding for xp to get the next tank, doing the research, continuing to grind for free xp and credits until I can buy the tank, buy the equipment, free xp the key modules, and use gold to max the crew. Grinding stock tanks wasn't bad up to tier 7, then I started noticing a big difference and it really sucks grinding stock tier 8 for me. I can only imagine 9and 10 are even more painful.

 

 So, even with premium time, grinding g for free xp forces me to play the lower tier tank longer, refining the skills, seeing more and more of the higher tiers I will soon be seeing more and more of, and by the time I have the new tank ready to go, 

 

The American medium line has been very user friendly for me. I'm an average player, at best (at least once I abandoned the German medium line) and have had good fun from the Lee all along the way. I was concerned the T20 might have been the end of the fun, but did as well as with either Sherman- better, in some ways. 

 

And the Pershing- got the engine, tracks, and the top gun, maxed the crew and could only afford the rammer and GLD, which allowed me to have a great first game against tier 9's, even. 

 

Now I just need about 40k free xp to set up the T44 I got today as well (glad it was a sale on tier 8 this weekend)

Buy the Panther M/10 and grind the T20. And the T20 is awesome.

8 seconds??? That's horrible! The Comet is like half that, the IS-6 can bring it down to 10.7 and IS-6 has much more alpha

T20 is good if played right.  Though if you don't know how to play the E8 then I doubt the T20 will work for you.  E8 is a good tank, I have no idea why you would skip it.

NEVER use free exp to finish the exp needed for a new tank.  Save free exp to unlock modules on new tanks you buy.

I honestly did not enjoy my time in the E8.  The M4 was quite good, but the E8 felt like an awkward tank. Different strokes I guess.
