2.7 update feedback
#2 Posted 08 March 2016 - 01:13 PM
Welcome to the forum.
Your point of feedback is what exactly?
Because you only made a statement of a factual change. Without expressing whether you agree with it, nor find either 1MM or 2MM better.

Please do not change matchmaking back where it was before. If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all. In the old days, no matter which tank I chose from my inventory, I was always at the bottom of the team list. You know, the lone tier V up against tier VII, all gold shots bouncing and destruction inevitable. Before update 2.7 comes out, I'm still unlucky enough, I'm still at the bottom of the team list but I have a bit more of a chance up against only the next tier higher. So please do not change matchmaking format on the NA server. It is perfect the way it is. +/-1 tier. Sorry first time in forum.

I completely agree that it gets to be quite frustrating to be -1 and -2 on the roster, 75% of the time in any given tank in tiers 5 through 8.
At the start of the +1-1MM (1MM) "experiment", Wargaming indicated clearly that it would be temporary in order to gather various kinds of performance data and player feedback; before an official determination will be made on whether two stick with the old +2-2MM (2MM)
So, right now. The 1MM trial ended. Back to the old default 2MM.
Chances are, based on user engagement and user feedback, which seems to have overwhelmingly accepted 1MM as a good thing, that 1MM will return in a few updates from now.
We don't know though, how Wargaming will slice and dice the various metrics and the bottom line ($).
So whether 1MM comes back or 2MM is here to stay forever .... who knows?
And yes, in the grand scheme of things, being -1 is a lot more tolerable and less stressful for most players than being -2.

I hear you. The thing is, the better one plays, the more difference one makes in game. For over a year, all there was, was 2MM and people learn and adapt, play a bit different as low tier or high tier. Dish out as much damage as you can etc.
You're struggling mid tiers upwards. You only have a super tricky tier vii premium (E25) and now the IS3D. So you have a very poor basis to run in VII VIII and IX games.
Catch up on some guides and tutorials. You will perform better and have more fun.
