Ok so I was checking my app updates and saw that the game had a 1.2.5 update, I clicked download and everything went smoothly until it reached the end of installing, the game completely disappeared from my phone and I went to the App Store to see if maybe I had accidentally deleted it, however it says "Open" which means it's still on my phone, and when I click "open" in the App Store it doesn't do anything at all

Interesting... I'm sure you've tried resetting or turning off your phone. Have you tried a hard reset? I have an iPhone 5s to and haven't had a problem. I'll relay this to our support team and see if they know anything.

I figured out the issue, if players update the game before they have IOS 8 is installed the game disappeared, simply download IOS 8 before the game and there will be no problems
