Dunno if this has been discussed before, but I'd like to suggest to all players to move your "triggers" to where you won't accidentally hit them while driving or turning.  This will help to avoid accidentally shooting teammates in front of you.  Go to SETTINGS then CONTROLS and just move them to whatever position is comfortable for you.

I have huge cracks on my screen that sometimes causes a misfire

That's what I did too. I seemed to accidentally tap the firing button when I look around so I moved it further up my screen.

And if I could add- when you do accidentally pop a cap in one of your team mates, let them know it wasn't on purpose.

WHO NEEDS ARTY WHEN YOU’VE GOT RNG TO MAGICALLY SCREW YOU?

I removed the left trigger button after I hit the iPad's Home button by mistake in tight battle.

I strip away the old debris that hides a shining car, a brilliant red barchetta from a better vanished time

My not so helpful WOTB videos are on YouTube

The problem will solve itself with time.

4000 battles is far too late to move the controls now. The button locations are burned into my brain, moving them would screw me over.

I sometimes drive Warships too.

Remove the secondary fire button on top of the joystick.

I also made a few of my controls bigger. A while ago, I experienced issues where I would tap to shoot but the button was too small and I would miss it, leading to me missing out on a shot at the enemy.
