So in the news it states that there will be no change to premium tanks yet at the very bottom in list of adjustments being made it states a decrease in profit % in the Japan Anko "PREMIUM" tank. 

How can this be . . . . . . . . . . . ?

IDK man. I'm sad that they're nerfing the Anko. Then again, we didn't drive it just for the credits.

Some argue because it was free and not bought. Thus WG is not making as much $$$ as they could. So they got the nerf bat out big time. Thanks WG

Then wouldn't that include, IS-3 Defender, Tankenstine, M4A3E4, M3 Light, LTP, and T7 Combat Car? I'd say they did it because too many people drove it (I wonder why) and that's why they got that nerf bat

I created a ticket asking about this so will see what the response will be.
I have only played a dozen or so battles in the ANKO anyway so it won't effect me so much but the fact that there is conflict of what is being said and what is listed to happen doesn't give one a warm and fuzzy feeling.
Premium is Premium whether paid for or not!

some people bought the IS-3 Defender and Tankenstein, I'm pretty sure they aren't gonna touch those.

The Anko was free, so they're trying to lose less money via nerf so people will buy gold again.

Really.....Absurd move WG, don't touch my premium tanks, even my Anko. That IS a premium tank, NOTHING is "Free," we battled 50 victories to earn it. 50 victories or more battle attempts that COST us credits to battle in our tanks.

but those gift tanks were low tier and made pennies in comparison to the defender and tankenstien

Um, yeah it was free. Absolutely free. Fifty wins is nothing. They didn't have to give us the Anko. Keep whinning and see how many free tanks we'll get in the future. The Anko earns very well for a tier 5 premium so I can see why they would nerf it a bit. I have almost all the tier 5 premiums and the Anko is one of the better earners for sure, compared to the other tier 5 premiums. Now it'll earn less. But still more than a non premium PzIV or other tier 5 non premium.

I never paid actual $$$ for that cartoon tank Anko that I sold after 7 battles...so yeah...it was FREE.  I did however pay actual $$$, (Unites States dollars) for my other premium tanks like the Victory, T14 etc etc....so those are not FREE.  Its pretty straight forward stuff actually....

You seem to miss the point, this premium tank is losing "-28 profitability," they said they wouldn't touch the premium tanks, and yet here it is. Are they trying to convey that Anko is not a premium tank, but only a special event tank that is "given for free" (not free, since it costs credits to battle) by putting in the 50+ battle attempts to make that 50 victory total. Maybe for you, 50 victories is nothing but it may be different for future events. By making this move, they potentially removed the incentive for players to battle for special event tanks that look cool but will not profit the player.

A 'Premium' tank is premium, regardless of it was free or paid for in in-game gold or in real money.

 

Someone needs to explain this to the Russian-to-English translator on WG staff.

So, nerfing the Anko eh?  That's a dirty move that I could rant about for hours, but if they ever touch M3 Light, my first premium, main money grinder that helped me get the PERSHING (yes, I had no other prem's for quite a while), the one that helped me through just about every economic crisis, and was one of the funnest tanks I ever drove... tables will be flipped and rants will be had.  Still, I love my Anko to death, and it is pretty sad to see it nerfed.  It was one of those tanks that just had something about it, I always seemed to have really good matches in it.

my thoughts on this as wellthe anko was not as free as the gift tanks and should not be touched period.

28% Nerf for its 150% Credit Coefficient? That means it will have 108% credit coefficient, and it also means I'll have to rebuy the 3/4.
