hmmm, mill is still there...I don't see how this will improve if we keep coagulating on that one spot and into a stagnant fighting 

 

edit: they moved the mill, hopefully they lowered the terrain a little so the stagnant fighting will stop.

Ok the td  nerf is unnacetable

All those camping tds

Guess what if you hugged the red border near mill YOU DIDNT get sniped

only noobs who skyline to the whole map get killed

Do the developers really doubt how fun sniping is?

Sniping is only possible now in my ru251 and other mobile tanks that can relocate.

Welcome to another map revision by World Of Tanks Blitz - HILLS Division

 

Ensuring that more maps look and play exactly alike, with flattened terrain that's dotted with small hills & dunes, less chances for 1/4 of the tank types (TDs) to do their job, ... 

 

And the point that Winter Malinovka resulted in an above average number of draws due to playing the map edges? Color me skeptical. Playing the map edge at the mill, yes. But above average draws? How much above average are we talking here, because I think the draw rate in the battles that I participate in is < 1 / 100 and I don't recall most of them happening on Winter Mal.

Winter mal rarely draws. Infact because most of the battles are at mill the game ends fast.

It's just a matter of time until every map makes sniping impossible. God forbid any player should have to develop situational awareness.

 

so far, sniping has been smacked right out of, or was not present in:

 

Oasis Palms (worst make over ever)

Middleburg (a map made worse by a redux).

Castilla (an especially bad tweak).

Rockfield (nuked key brush spots)

Desert Sands (the original was more fun)

lost temple (took away most long range shots)

Himmelsdorf (sniping on this map is by opportunity rather than by plan).

 

some maps have some sniping if the fight moves that way:

 

Fort despair (sniping spots are all obvious).

canal (sniping is limited)

black goldville (long distance shot lanes suck and are well known)

winter mal (sniping only works for good shots)

Dead rail (last decent sniper map remaining. Look for it to be flattened by v.3.0

copperfield (again few sniping spots, all well known).

Mirage (big map makes sniping possible)

mines (another map where all the good sniping spots are well known.

 

Nothing left is like the good old days of the original Oasis Palms, where having binocs equipped actually mattered most games. Yep. Mediums and heavy drivers bitterly complained, but can anyone seriously argue that there are any remaining maps that have a "TD Zone?"

Ugh they keep nerfing the ability for TDs to do ANYTHING. How on earth are you supposed to use a gun with no armor if you are forced to jump into direct fire??

why would they add TD lines if they keep up changes like these
