Ever wondered how World of Tanks Blitz works under the hood? We rely on the powerful BigWorld engine to form the backbone of our game. BigWorld helps us calculate if your shot penetrates an enemy’s armor, ensures your tank responds how you want it to, and allows you and 13 other tankers to battle on the same battlefield.
When we released Update 2.7, it also included the first update in two years to our BigWorld engine. Despite serious preparations and considerable testing beforehand, the switch wasn’t without its hiccups. Since Update 2.7’s release, some players have been frustrated by short-term lag spikes and freezes, often occurring during long play sessions or while our servers are under heavy load.
We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and assure you that we’ve been working to fix these issues as quickly as possible. Since the release of Update 2.7 we’ve released eight server updates and have been working tirelessly to squash server bugs as they’re identified. We realize things aren’t perfect yet, but we’re confident that with forthcoming game updates the problem will be solved. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
At least we have official acknowledgement now that things haven't been the same since 2.7, people's concerns and issues are valid ... and yes, there's server (over)load.
Again highlights the need for
> more testing
> more transparency
> more capacity

2.7 caused me such anxiety, now I have a facial tick. Thanks 2.7.
My hair turned white, then fell out. Thanks 2.7.
My right eye swelled up, yes the actual eyeball, looks like I'm holding a magnifying glass in front of it. Thanks 2.7.
I catch myself walking in circles, but I have my left foot planted, my right foot just pushes off, like if I where skate boarding, round and round I go. Thanks 2.7.
I wet the bed. Thanks 2.7.
My eyebrow hair fell out. Have to pencil in now. Thanks 2.7.
Is there going to be some form of remediation for my anguish Serb?

I strip away the old debris that hides a shining car, a brilliant red barchetta from a better vanished time
My not so helpful WOTB videos are on YouTube
The problem will solve itself with time.

I ran about a dozen battles last night without a single issue.
You guys must have done something right.
Thanks VERY much!

Wait, you mean the lag spikes and disconnects weren't my three different sources of internet failing like every person responding to a "I have more Lag" thread said?
Well huh. Imagine that.

Today I went to the bathroom and forgot my phone.
There are 256 tiles in the bathroom...
