The new 2+ 2- matching is terrible. What is the point of having premium t8 tanks if I go into teir10 battles 70% of the time. I don't even know why you guys messed with this, unless it's to help to your beloved mediums in some way.

Teir 8's can still be competitive in tier 10 battles. Sure, it's an uphill climb, but you can still do fine. I've been failtooned with my tier 7 jpanther into an 8-9-10 and came out with 2nd most damage. You just can't play frontliner in those conditions. Its all about adapting to what you are given.

With +2/-2 you also get more credits and experience for doing damage to higher tiers, and quench times are shorter.

"Failtooned" is a potential pitfall when you in a T7 and mate T8 because MM only takes highest of platoon into consideration. Looks like you did well! How many other times w/ the split did you end -3 in your run?

It's not "new mm".

We has this for nearly 2 years before.

+1/-1 was "new mm"

I prefer the +1-1, but if you are any good, you can score well in the bottom tier of a three tier match.

I for one am tired of this garbage MM.  You had better fix this, Wargaming - it SUCKS.  I'm all for working hard for a win, but this MM is completely ridiculous - often, though not always.  Mulitiple top tier tanks against one, or even none of the same top tier. You seem to believe that putting more bottom tier tanks on the other team makes it even (if that even happens, because that is not always the case).  Baloney. Look at DPM and HP pools and tell me this is balanced.

FIX IT Wargaming.

Last night I had four consecutive battles, where my team had four tier eights and the other team had 2 in tier10 battles. Explain that....

There was even a recent thread on the pros of bottom tier.  Seize the opportunity and farm XP.

As seen in game chat "ammo sux"

Sorry, but I'm not buying the "farm XP" except as a poor response to what should be a balanced game.  And less experienced players have minimal opportunity to farm XP when they're dead - because higher tiers just rolled right over them.

The MM alogrithm needs to be fixed pronto.  Too many mismatched games in 2.8 - and I've been on both sides of that recent development.

I personally like +1/-1, but +2/-2 is even more reliant on balance.  And you don't get balance when the top two tanks on the opposing team were two SP1s, and the top two on my team were an IS3 Defender and a JPanther II.  Yes, it was a victory for my team - as expected by everyone on the playing field.

FIX MM Wargaming.

The occasional +2/-2 for a player is fine.  But it is not occasional - it is constant.

The problem is that at certain periods throughout the day, a player will get placed as the bottom player for 80% of the games.  This becomes exceptionally boring.

And when the high tier players are unskilled and get decimated within a minute or two (and this is about 50% of the time), its over, amplifying the boredom for everyone as they either wait for the poor low tier to be found and wasted, or chased around the map for several minutes.
