The sound effect that is heard when a consumable wears off is not happening at the correct time. The duration of consumables such as engine boost has changed to 15 seconds from 30 seconds, but the "engine boost wearing off" sound effect is heard 30 seconds after use, not 15 seconds. There is 75 seconds left on the engine boost cooldown timer when the sound effect is heard.

 

Reproduce this bug:

Use engine boost consumable.

Wait 15 seconds for consumable to wear off and listen for sound. It's not there.

Wait 30 seconds from use of consumable, until approximately 75 seconds remain on cooldown timer.

Listen for sound effect.

Hear it.

I've noticed this too mostly for adrenaline. Not a huge problem but it should probably be addressed.

Could be potentially misleading when you have to rely on hearing the sound to know when it's run out while you focus on outrunning/shooting while driving at 60

I've noticed this as well. Would be nice to have a sound notification when it's ready to use again. A "ding!" like when my Toaster Strudels are done.

The "consumable running out" sound effect still happens 30 seconds after use instead of the correct 15 seconds in 2.9.
