So little to say about this that would make it through the profanity filter.

Maybe uptake on provisions hasn't been that great?

Stock up?  wth.. As if you can bank them (am I missing something?).. As if you would want to?  I don't understand this at all.  Suggesting better title:

"Try Provisions at 20% for a limited time (said standing outside the school yard, hands in pockets, with a shifty gaze), to reduce your earned credits, but keep you competitive with the players that have deep wallets!"

Okay.  Next update please.

Something tells me the PR Dept hasn't been reading up on general consensus of the provisions.
TEMPORARY discount will only further anger most. I know it would sit better with me if they had just done nothing as opposed to this half-baked scheme.

Hope someday we will be able to buy provision and camo using gold as a one-time purchase.

Sorry to ask, but exactly how does one "stock up" on something, that is an automatic one battle use item?

I mean, in the real world, one could say buy up and stockpile a whole depot worth of fuel in cans, or food supplies, and draw them out and use them as needed or wanted. But the current system doesn't work that way.

And the "Protection Provision", is that like buying an insurance policy? In the real world, can one buy multiple life insurance policies from the same company, and pile them up, so if a person dies, the family gets as many payoffs as the insured had? You might be able to do that with several different companies, but as your model works, it's one source and vendor, and again can those be stockpiled? I think not.

So exactly how does one "stock up" on the WOTB model of "provisions", or consumable items for that matter too?

I'm with the other posters on this, unless there is a way to stock inventory of consumables and equipement sales such as this only have a transitory effect on prices ...  I haven't been using any provisions post experimentation stage so I think I shall pass!

WG give us the capability to "stock up on provisions.  We can't do that now.

Wow. Provisions and new economy introduced. People burn down the forums and say they are too expensive, introduce pay to win, and have ruined the economy. WG gives a one week 20% discount.

I have to wonder what WG is thinking is on this. Is this just a case of the right hand not knowing what the left is doing, or is this throwing us a bone regarding our complaints. Because if this is intended as a "fix" to the economy, its kind of insulting.

Look on the bright side, they didn't mention Radio Range in the advertisement.  At least someone finally let the marketing team know that we don't have that in this game.

Only took a year and a half...

If I take my dogs food bowl away and then offer him a small treat a minute later, he will wiggle his tail in joy. Maybe WG expects us to do likewise :teethhappy:.

Look at how many people went out and spent gold on the Tier VI anime Tiger right in the middle of the 2.8 update rage, despite the fact that it wasn't all that hard to grind out for free and get it a few days later.

I don't think their expectation is all that unrealistic.

My dog is far smarter then most of the people I have to interact with on a daily basis.  Not just in the game.
