No. A wolfpack is a platoon/group of the same tank/type of tank.

How would you define "Wolfpack?"

View PostCrimsonMG, on 30 September 2014 - 01:55 PM, said:

Medium tank platoon.

concep is right.

Also, 'wolfpacks' were very iconic to Type 59 platoons on the PC version of World of Tanks. I remember that they were a common sight back in the days of PBKAC. I guess that's why some players see a relationship between medium-tanks and wolfpacks.

I think 'some players' would misunderstand this completely due to the use of this acronym for another game. :veryhappy:

E100s can't be a wolfpack. They don't have to be the same exact tank, they jus all have to be fast and have similar speed so as to move together. Generally it's only mediums or lights.

You might want to also add that flank, as a noun can simply refer to the sides, as in "protect the T95's flanks".

According to your own definition, E100s can be a wolf pack. But I'll update the flank to represent sides as well.

They have to be fast tanks. Here are a couple of sources:

It looks like you're right. It seems the general consensus is that speed is the most important element. I'll adjust the definition to reflect this. Thanks for the info and links.

No problem, it's also in the glossary on the wiki: http://wiki.wargaming.net/en/Glossary

It might be useful to provide that as an additional reference for more info.

These terms threw me, until I looked them up.

Upper Glacis: The upper frontal hull armour plate of a tank.
Lower Glacis: Lower frontal hull armour on a tank, usually weaker.

Is it me or I don't see "TK" in there? TK definitely is one of the most important terms you have to know about IMO.
