Great job!

AFK - Away From Keyboard   which sounds weird when we're not using keyboards. I've heard people say it means A Free Kill as well.

I strip away the old debris that hides a shining car, a brilliant red barchetta from a better vanished time

My not so helpful WOTB videos are on YouTube

The problem will solve itself with time.

Maybe add Troll to the list.

add "Pen" to the list.

When I was new to the game, and kept reading on here about "pen" and "penning", took me a while to figure out what was being talked about.

These terms threw me, until I looked them up.

Upper Glacis: The upper frontal hull armour plate of a tank.
Lower Glacis: Lower frontal hull armour on a tank, usually weaker.

These are all great suggestions and they have all been added to the list with accompanying links where appropriate. Thanks for the help!

I've added about 15 new terms while waiting anxiously for the new update. I think this list is about done and should provide a good reference, but if anyone can think of any other terms or phrases, vehicle nicknames, gun nicknames, or other idiosyncrasies used in WoTB please leave a comment.

Thanks again to everyone who has helped contribute to this list.

I noticed that you have not added camo/ camoflague yet.

Even though this is Blitz, adding scouting may be a good thing inclusing active and passive scouting.

One term being used by everyone including developers is "nerf" or "nerfed"

Another tank nickname that may be too self explanatory is "Ferdi"

Might consider adding "Wallet Warrior" for inexperienced players who purchase premium tanks with real world money beyond their skill level.

You're absolutely right. There's a very important difference between active and passive scouting. These terms have been added. Thanks!

Ahhh the nerf. Poor T-29. I added the three terms you suggested. Let me know if you think of anything else. Thanks!

Just wanted to bump this thread one last time in the hopes you guys would be kind enough to rack your brain and come up with any other terms you can think of. My goal is to make this as exhaustive as possible so tankers who are unfamiliar with WotB can have a one-stop place to look things up.

Also, if you guys see a definition that you think needs to be modified, explained better or should have a link to somewhere else... please let me know and I'll make the appropriate edits.

Thanks again to everyone who has helped add to this list.

Now i will just be nitpicking.

T-34 is T34 for wallet warriors, and RNG can also impact where a shot will land. (RNG is screwing my shots)

Also, under track, "Perma-track"(ing) is a tactic where you keep a slow repair crew [heavy tank] in place by blowing its track off repeatedly.

Under o7, include "o/".

And since you're doing nicknames for tanks, why not add:

Jaegeru (Jagdpanzer E100) (a is an umlaut, dunno how the code for it :P)

Nice suggestions, dude. I added the Jageru, which got me to thinking of the Death Star and the Waffle. So I added those as well. Also edited the "T-34" to "T34" and corrected some other tank names that were improperly represented.

Added this as well.

Thanks for these suggestions and if you think of anything else, or feel a specific definition needs to be hyperlinked to more info, let me know.

There's a lot of good information in this thread! Keep up the good work.

On that note - here's some love from Wargaming (pinned)
