I'm already aware that this doesn't apply to most of you whipper snappers or people without children and I fully anticipate an all out verbal assault for this idea. Please know, that I already know how you feel and trashing this topic is now pointless.

Back around April Fools Day when Blitz surprised us with the butterflies and rainbow graphics, most of us thought "Okay, funny, but I want my game back now!" However, I appreciated the lack of explosions, and fire, and everything that 99% of the people love about this game for the sole reason that my 6 year old son likes to watch and play the game. HE liked it because it was funny. I liked it because it was a less violent game for his age range (again, I know this isn't a game for most 6 year olds). My question is this: "How hard would it be for Blitz make a version of the game that allowed kids to drive around and shoot marshmallows at each other?"

An adult only version would be great. No more boo-booing or tattle telling from hurt feelings. Too many sensitive people "playing" a war game. Unfortunately, no way to control age lying for either an adult or kids version of the game with the Internet.

Well, a problem is that you're supposed to be +13 years of age to play the game, make an account, et cetera. And there are minimum ages for the download stores, too.

Basically, young kids aren't supposed to download this (or apps in general, depending on exact age).

Does anyone really pay attention and follow this? No. But if you owned a company worth over 1 billion dollars, would you like to see your company crippled by some lawsuits on making a "kid-friendly" version of a game? No! Also, they would have to divide their team in half to do that. Updates would come every 2-3 months, with much less content per update.

Quality over quantity - and in this case, diversity.

Kids mode would be fun. Could be part of basic training.

Ideas for Kids mode:

Disable chat.

Limit tanks to a kids server or queue.

Free he and ap ammo. free repairs.

No consumables/provisions.

1-2 small maps.

Obstacle courses

Races

Tanks don't blow up they have white flags like GuP, or something else less violent.

Maybe password protected to get out of kids mode.

Edit: almost forgot tiers 1-2 only.

My 5 y/o son watches me play and desperately wants to try (He is quite good on PS4's proving grounds lol). Kids mode would be a fun way to expand the player base without affecting the core gameplay.

Dont take this the completely opposite of what I mean, but 6 year olds can handle a few booms and stuff imo. Theres no people in the tank, or shown anywhere for that matter. If anything, I opt for people in the tanks that get killed (but then the rating jumps up)

Wouldn't be hard at all to "make" World of Tanks: Kids. That said, the brand would suffer. It's important for companies to keep an image / brand in order to be successful. Wag gotta stick to fundamentals and those are kill death tank explosions.

Dunno if Jennifer meant this or not, but you could find a way or have somebody mod the [edited]out of this game, thus getting back to 'kid friendly'

I was being serious. I'm not a tech-e guy but common sense tells me that they would simple have to change some codes similar to what they did the Aprils fools thingy. Of course the graphics people would need to draw it too... But I can't imagine it being difficult.
