Still can't download

For updates 2.7, 2.8, and now again 2.9 I am unable to download the app.  I have two internet service providers available at home.  Time Warner Cable as well as ATT LTE.  Any of the following methods of downloading the app, take at least 4+ hours, and when I give up, go to sleep and leave them on overnight, the download crashes somewhere in the process.

 

Using App store through iPad over Wifi (TWC)

Using App store through ipad over LTE (ATT)

Using iTunes through PC hard wired into router (TWC)

Using iTunes through PC with LTE hot spot (ATT)

 

I work at a major university with their own internet and when I come in here, it takes about 7 minutes to download.  Same device, maybe 2 miles from my home.

 

Before anyone suggests both of my ISP's are having troubles, at the same time Blitz refuses to download at a rate higher than a few bytes, all other app updates download in mere seconds.

How old is your iPad? You've tried multiple ways with the Internet, so it doesn't seem like your ISP is the issue. It could be that your iPad can't download the huge file for some reason.

Try making more room on your ipad. My old lady had the same problem with her iPhone she just made more room and it worked. Hope it works for you too.

My iPad is still on 8.3 and it downloaded fine.   This must be killing you. So sorry

It's an iPad Air 32gb.  The problem is not the device.  Read the entire post where I indicated the whole app downloaded at work just fine in mere minutes.  Also read above where I mentioned that I have zero problem downloading any other app updates that are NOT Blitz a the same time Blitz refuses to download at faster than dial up modem speeds.

Is this the app package download from the store, or the subsequent data download from within the app?

I'm fully deleting Blitz and re-downloading from either the app store on the iPad, or the apps portal through itunes.

Have you tried restarting the mobile device before the install attempt?

 

Not trying to be snarky, sometimes people forget.

Wait, you can't download the app, via iTunes, on a desktop machine?  That now sounds like an iTunes account issue.

Have you tried logging in as another iTunes account to see if you can download the app?

I did not try that, though did dump all apps from memory and hard reset.  Again, the strangest part is that I can download all other apps in a flash at home, just not Blitz...
