First, disclaimers for those who spam plagiarism in the comments.

Yes, yes, i know this stuff is in game and the global wiki (which finally has subtitles), but I also give my opinion, just like my equipment guide I did ages ago.

What I use:

Multi-Use Restoration Pack

Repair Kit

First Aid Kit(usually) -OR- Food consumables (for premium tanks)

Why I use it:

This setup is recommended by me, and pretty much ONLY me. It creates a cheap initial setup, as well as a balanced setup for advanced play. The Multi-Use Restoration Pack should only be used for engine fires. The first critical hits should be solved using the cheaper and more practical repair pack or first aid kit--no use in wasting so much money for a Multi-Use Pack. Sometimes, you only need to repair one thing, so the repair kit does its job. Plus, since heavies/TDs can be tracked twice and circled to death, the repair kit can be used for the initial track, and the Multi-Use can be used for the second/following hit. Fires are (almost) always easily stopped with this setup.

-OR- food consumables

I use these more expensive consumables for my premium tanks because I can afford it. They usually repay the costs, but the extra bonus is tremendous. Facing other M3 Lights, for example, mine can tear theirs up. The only annoying thing is that crew injuries require the Multi-Use Pack. Can be a pain to spend so much, sometimes, but I can work it.

Other possible setups:

Adrenaline:

The RoF advantage can be helpful. Except when it's not. It's hella expensive, and the advantages aren't obviously used on the battlefield often. When someone enables it, I find cover and wait for their 10k+ credit consumable is burned out. Then I can attack, like normal, except the enemy doesn't have all 3 slots of usable consumables.

Fire Extinguisher;(FE):

It is recommended, but it shouldn't be. Fires (almost) always come with additional damage, so using this doesn't solve your dead engine. Don't use this. Ever. Better to just get the more expensive Multi-Pack.

Engine Boost:

The "removed speed governors" for all nations. Useful when it is, just like adrenaline, but is also a waste of credits. I bet a T95 using this would have a totally different outcome with a T-54 shooting its butt off. So no, I do not, and will never use this. Instead, pay attention, and go to the hill like a normal person on Mines. Especially when driving a medium.

I have already covered the rest in my initial setup, but if you have additional suggestions/critiques, please feel free to PM/comment down below!

I got "engine boost" off wiki. Octane boost is the gasoline bonus to engine power and turret traverse in PC. Removed speed governors has the same picture as the engine boost in this game.

I explained why it wouldn't work, but if it does for you, then great! (unless I play against you)

Thanks!

For the plagiarism thing, I was joking because people were copy pasting stuff right out of the wiki. Lol.

I don't think you can say there is one set of consumables to fit all vehicles. Slower vehicles its nice to have a speed boost, others that don't reload as fast, you would want the adrenaline boost. Quiet frankly I'm not sure why it's even a discussion. You NEED to Taylor to your weaknesses and mitigate your weaknesses.

Some don't have the income to have 7k+ on consumables every match, whether they use anything or not.

But whatevs. Good enough to compensate for a new crew.

Lol. Have you ever seen an adrenaline boost/speed boost not been used correctly?

F yes you have. It's no use for using adrenaline when a Jagdpanzer E100 has 1 clear shot. Then the 13k+credits are wasted on this consumable.

And they are left feeling bummed about their use of it. ;)

Realy? I dont have any problems using adrenaline on my faster firing tanks. It is still useful when you pull off an epic flank or are face hugging someone up close. The prospect of me having it sometimes keeps enemies at bay and when i have it i am not scared to go balls to the wall when it calls. Situational yes but sometimes that situation can be a game breaker. Also consider peeking around a corner and using adrenaline to keep an opponent tracked that you would not be able to normally do with slower fiing tanks. Nothing is worse than being tracked, taking damage and not being able to do anything about it. Now think of that taking 400 damage a shot.

I hope more of the newer players see this thread. I've seenmany players using the wrong consumables at the wrong time. I've also noticed players activating the consumable to boost their engine power but stay on the same spot while shooting an enemy. I think they may have mistaken the 'stopwatch' symbol to mean decreased reload time while ignoring the explanation or even the name of the consumable.

I want to know you guys's mindsets, would you get an engine boost for a slow tank? Or adrenaline for a slow firing tank, or the other way around?

Totally depends on the Tank and how i play it (Also how it is expected to play in the game by the general population).  For the most part slow tanks don't really put me off, i would rather have more ROF.

Adrenaline for my TD's and slow ROF Heavies (Very helpful when you are down to the end of a battle perhaps in a 1v1 situation)

Food/rations etc for the Mediums

My noob question for the day: do multi-use consumables charge credits for each use, or just once for the match? Because that could get awfully expensive if it's the former.
