First, disclaimers for those who spam plagiarism in the comments.
Yes, yes, i know this stuff is in game and the global wiki (which finally has subtitles), but I also give my opinion, just like my equipment guide I did ages ago.
What I use:
Multi-Use Restoration Pack
Repair Kit
First Aid Kit(usually) -OR- Food consumables (for premium tanks)
Why I use it:
This setup is recommended by me, and pretty much ONLY me. It creates a cheap initial setup, as well as a balanced setup for advanced play. The Multi-Use Restoration Pack should only be used for engine fires. The first critical hits should be solved using the cheaper and more practical repair pack or first aid kit--no use in wasting so much money for a Multi-Use Pack. Sometimes, you only need to repair one thing, so the repair kit does its job. Plus, since heavies/TDs can be tracked twice and circled to death, the repair kit can be used for the initial track, and the Multi-Use can be used for the second/following hit. Fires are (almost) always easily stopped with this setup.
-OR- food consumables
I use these more expensive consumables for my premium tanks because I can afford it. They usually repay the costs, but the extra bonus is tremendous. Facing other M3 Lights, for example, mine can tear theirs up. The only annoying thing is that crew injuries require the Multi-Use Pack. Can be a pain to spend so much, sometimes, but I can work it.
Other possible setups:
Adrenaline:
The RoF advantage can be helpful. Except when it's not. It's hella expensive, and the advantages aren't obviously used on the battlefield often. When someone enables it, I find cover and wait for their 10k+ credit consumable is burned out. Then I can attack, like normal, except the enemy doesn't have all 3 slots of usable consumables.
Fire Extinguisher;(FE):
It is recommended, but it shouldn't be. Fires (almost) always come with additional damage, so using this doesn't solve your dead engine. Don't use this. Ever. Better to just get the more expensive Multi-Pack.
Engine Boost:
The "removed speed governors" for all nations. Useful when it is, just like adrenaline, but is also a waste of credits. I bet a T95 using this would have a totally different outcome with a T-54 shooting its butt off. So no, I do not, and will never use this. Instead, pay attention, and go to the hill like a normal person on Mines. Especially when driving a medium.
I have already covered the rest in my initial setup, but if you have additional suggestions/critiques, please feel free to PM/comment down below!
