Fellow Tankers!

 

On Sunday August 28th the Canadian War Museum has a day called "Awesome Tanks".  This is an all day event similar to other military museums where they bring out the running tanks and do demonstrations for the public.  As I understand there is also another "club" in the Ottawa area that also brings vehicles for display and demonstration.  Visitors are also allowed into the back of the museum to see where the staff work on and maintain the many tanks and vehicles, and as I'm told even get onto or inside some vehicles!

 

I, and some of my fellow Triarii, are planning to get together for a day of fun and camaraderie and I'm putting the invite out to anyone who's interested and able to come!  Join us and you can meet Lephturn and Lokeen from the TankBOOM! podcast along with other tankers you may have platooned with in the past!  I'm also hoping to have some swag provided by War Gaming to distribute to attendees.

No way dude that's awesome!  You'll be surprised how many tankers are closer to you than you realize.  There's at least 4 Triarii that I know of in and around Ottawa.

All I can say at this point is that there is a VERY REAL reason I purchased a Mac Book Pro last month instead of a Mac Desktop.......
