I just dont know what tank to get. I already have the T49 and that think is a beast. I love the M3 lee but I have all ways wanted a big heavy tank. I have seen alot about the T1 being crappy and dont dont know what to do. I do love the speed of my T49 but it cant take a hit and I dont know about the sherman. Please vote and tell me about both tanks and why you think what you think about the T1/M4.

Sherman. T1 Heavy is a nightmare, and if you want to go down the american heavy tank line, you can skip the T1 and M6 by getting the M4A3E2 sherman jumbo, which leads to the T20 and the T29, so both the american medium and heavy lines.

M4 Sherman. Then get the Godly Sherman jumbo. Remember. Keep the stock turret.

You want a big tank you said? Get a big tank. The T1. Stock is terrible, but sets you up for the weak hulls of future American tanks. Mantlet is a starter for hull down, but not the best at it.

oh yeah one more thing: if you hadn't gone down the american medium tank line to at least tier VII with the T20 and unlocked the 90mm gun on that, you're gonna be playing the T29 with the Sherman Jumbo's top gun, the 76mm M1A2. you DO NOT, repeat, DO NOT, want to take your T29 into battle against Is-6s, IS-3s, IS-3Ds, and so on and so on ith 128mm of penetration. it will be painful, so as wannabeunicum said, make sure you have enough free xp to unlock that 90mm gun right when you get the T29.

on a side note, if you choose to go down the T1 Heavy path, make sure to unlock the 90mm gun on the M6 before getting the T29

what does the t1 teach you?

Paper sides

And you might get a ram.

M4 because Jumbo.

M4 because gun depression.

M4 because more fun.

T1 with full trained crew and completely tricked out, will do very well, and you don't have to loud up a lot of provisions either, maybe fuel at most. Load some Prammo for those tough tanks, and in sniper mode with that top gun, you will make all but the fastest tanks hurt, unless you lead on those very well.

Don't forget too, unless you build up the crew skills that only can only be built up by playing a heavy, your whole tank line will be suffering in some critical ways.

T1 actually plays better than the M6, and the like the M4, it was a real tank, just didn't see combat in real life. Best to play it like a Medium.

I'm in the same position as you, though I think I'll be going M4 Sherman for the Jumbo.

T1 heavy is all for the troll 85-100mm of armour and the key is ramming your enemeys to death this is like the e50 m at tier 5 but unfortunately has paper sides while the Sherman has decent gun depression and very good gun choices and has a solid mantlet but the rest is screaming to killed by a pz 4's 105mm derp... If you are going for a medium tank use the pz 4 or the t34.:P

But if you use the Sherman use your gun depression and mantlet to your advantage so at least you can bounce and put shots up and also jerk back and forth a lot when usin

Your turret also keep that tip when using all strong turrerted tanks. :) Gl and hf :P

I like the Sherman play style, probs because i am a light tank player :P but he is not bad, decent mobility, good gun, can bounce off a lot of tier 4 guns (example: 76.2mm L-10) nice tank.

Do not get the T29 through the Jumbo unless you have enough Free XP to get at least the 90mm gun. You do not want to be fighting Tier 8's with the Jumbo's 76mm. I speak from experience. I went back through the T1 and M6. The M6 can hold its own at Tier 6 and 7, don't let people scare you off from it.

I’ve noticed a strong lack of Spare Parts. Is that intended?

No, it is not. This problem will solve itself with time. Many players have several dozens of vehicles in their Garages, so they don’t have enough Spare Parts for the entire vehicle fleet. But you will gradually collect enough Spare Parts to unlock new slots for purchased tanks in time.
