Howdy Tankers,

I just finished my review and gameplay video on the SU-76i Russian Tank Destroyer (Tier 3).  I was having trouble with my music mixer, so I apologize for not having good tunes but I wanted to get it out there before the Ice Claw leaves the Bundles packages:

In case you're wondering, I highly recommend getting the Ice Claw if the tank fits with your personal playstyle.  It's been a great tank for me (3 Raisenai's in a week), and I think you'll enjoy it as well.

Happy Tanking!

No Turret No Care.  Doesn't fit my play style.

Good review though.  Enjoyed watching some of the shots you made.

Today I went to the bathroom and forgot my phone.

There are 256 tiles in the bathroom...

Normally i agree, no turret, no play.

However...

- there isnt a turreted TD in any nation at tier 3. Closest is the american tier 4 and it inly has a 75mm gun, simular to the ice claw gun

- this non-turreted td has mobility and isnt circled easily

-tier 3 is third grade play skill, meaning if you use the left/right shimmy, use cover, and stay second line, you can rack up 1,500 to 2,000 damage in this td while wining over 60% of your battles. Its easier to carry in this td at tier 3 than higher tiers.

Lol, it's tier 3, the type of tank don't matter because all you have to do is hit 80% of your shots and you will win 70% of the time.

I feel the scene way but I bought it anyway. At tier 3 a td is lots of fun. I love all the ammo rack shots! Got 3 in one game.

You know a tank is OP when I have a 75% win rate and over 600 average damage in it (in tier 3) and my stats are only green.  :amazed:

For those of us in the KB/M world, having good lower tier tanks is important.  It's also essential to work your TD skills to their max.  The Ice Claw is one of the few tanks I can play that will actually grind some credits while I'm using all the "goodies" on my tank.  In contrast, every game in either my T-54 or my RU251 ends up with an average loss of 30,000 credits (I have lost up to 80,000 in my RU).

For sure.  I'm currently the top ranked player in it and I'm the only "Great" ranked on the chart.  That's just crazy.

What's even crazier is the guy with the overall top damage score of 1,800+.  I've killed all 7 enemy reds three times and I'm still 1,000 damage points behind him.  Geez Louise!  (Must have been done when there was +/-2 matchmaking and he got some heavies in Tier 5).

Yeah, my problem is I also have an Otsu...  Which has a turret...  And more then enough other little low tier scooters to mess around in.

Plus the no turret thing...

Perhaps I will regret it later, but right now, I'm okay.

If people enjoy TD's, this one seems like a good one, though.  I've heard many good things about it.

I thought the streams have been merged now?  I think you should be able to get into high tier matches without waiting two hours now.  :B

But I agree about the TD skills - Camo, clutch braking, and sniper are all really strong skills to get.  :izmena:

Until this tank came out, I didn't enjoy turretless TD's either.  But this tank has really good traverse speed and better than average gun depression.  It lets me get to the Front of the battle where I like to play instead of hiding somewhere in the back hoping to get a sniper shot.  Any tank that let's me do that, goes to the top of my favorites list.

PS - I wasn't around when Ke Ni Otsus came out or I'd have one.  I've only played against 2 of them so far in this tank.  If they can get to my rear or sides, they are deadly.  However, in both matches, neither Otsu was able to penetrate the front of my tank once I turned to face them.  Now that the MERGE is happening, I will be interested to see if the Ice Claw is up to the challenge.

When I play mediums, lights or TD's, I get put on the ALL light team versus the ALL heavy team.  It's a KB/M phenomenon that I hope a merge will cure.  However, even without Golden Showers, the RU has NEVER been able to earn credits without it's anniversary bonus for me.

FYI, I've only seen one Ice Claw in my Otsu, but with prammo, I remember being able to pen the front...  (I'm pretty certain)

Obviously I was trying pretty hard to not be on the shooting end of the gun, but I wouldn't rely on keeping a front to an Otsu...
