Looking for a Tier 7 toon. I will mostly be grinding JPanther. However, if possible, I would like to try to rehab some of my other tanks, including my Flaktoaster (which I somehow aced), Hellcat, Jackson, T25 AT, and JP4. My full garage should be in my sig.

Also, someone willing to help me in a Training room would be ok too. In that case, I would be mostly trying to learn how to play the Hellcat, T25 AT, JPanther, and perhaps the T20, FlakToaster, JP4, and SU-100. And learning how to abuse camo.

As to the JPanther, the armor is ok and good enough for some bounces, but don't expect too much. Certainly nowhere near Hetzer level. Hull down is easy in JPanther, but again, you don't really have that much armor. It's reasonably fast, and traverse makes circling tougher, but not impossible. I personally did not feel that much difference between the two top guns, but I'm a scrub. I personally like the 10,5 slightly better. 

 

As for research, push guns first. 

 

Also, run double rations until 100%.

Two gun choices.

One with 220 alpha, but higher DPM

Other with 310, but lower DPM.

I used the 8,8 and felt fine, but some prefer the 10,5.

Jagdpanther is good, but not exceptional. The mobility is good but not great, the armor can occasionally bounce, and both guns pack good handling and dpm, not to mention very good pen. It's just very big.

The 88 is much better Imo. Better dpm, pen, and handling. Only letdown is lower alpha.

I use the 10.5. If you have a place open enough to unleash the full DPM, you're probably already dead.

Yup. Unless you're sniping. 

 

10,5 allows for the JPanther to use the 8 degrees of gun depression more effectively. Pop up, blast an IS's turret, and repeat.
